Growing up, Kougyoku was always confident and pretty. As she grew older she began to notice how pretty girls were. And as she did, her mother took note of her youngest daughter. Finding pride in her daughter, one day she went to church, talking about how loving Kougyoku was. And as the church members talked about this, their priest overheard them and was displeased with what he heard.
On Kougyoku's 11th birthday, the priest paid a visit to Kougyoku's house before her party and saw the girl in a pretty blue dress and leggings underneath. He said he had a special gift for her to be given in private, and as a trusted friend of the family, Kougyoku went with him.
Instead of a present, he held her down behind a tree near a lake...
And said he'd save her.
After he left her there, she stayed there shivering and in pain. Eventually her older sister came to fetch her for cake. Her sister was 13 at the time and came across the horrifying scene of her sister bloodied and broken.
After calling the police on her own priest, Kougyoku's mother called her out of town husband. He immediately booked it back home to comfort his family and especially his youngest daughter. In doing this he decided it was time to learn self defense and in turn by her older sister, she learned to do parkour.
Eventually she learned with her strength and agility, she was invited to a junior's bullriding competition. And as she ranked first in every one, she went on to national bullriding and bring home trophies and large sums of money. She hadn't many friends and never dated though, for one important reason...
She never wanted to give someone a reason to hurt her like that again or leave herself vulnerable again...
