Chapter Twenty Four: Unease

Masane rose as the usual morning announcement from Shockbolt played and she stretched her arms over her head.

Rising, she turned to see Yumiyo had also just woken up, still looking tired.

"Hey Yumi. Sleep well?"

"Eh. I guess. You?"

"Not very well. I spent most the night tossing and turning."

"Well let's get dressed so we can get Yoshikawa and meet the others." Yumiyo said with a smile.

"Indeed." Masane smiled back.

Hopping off the bed, Masane as always placed clothes on the bed for Yumiyo as she got dressed herself.

"All done." Yumiyo's voice called out.

Turning around, Masane quickly glanced at Yumiyo to make sure she was dressed correctly before helping her off the bed.

"Alright let's go to Yoshikawa's room and then meet the others."

"Okay!"

After swiping the keycard, the duo left the room and went down the hall to Yumiyo's old room and knocked on the door.

Masane shouted out. "Hey bubba! Wake up, we gotta meet the others!"

A few moments went by before the door opened and Masane saw Yoshi's toothy grin. "Hi Masane!"

"Hey bub. How are you?"

"I'm okay! I'm still sleepy though..." Yoshikawa interrupted himself with a yawn, making the girls giggle.

"You get used to it eventually." Yumiyo explained.

"Oh okay. Anyways, is it time to meet the others, sissy?"

"It sure is."

"Okay. Let me get dressed and I'll be right out." After a nod from his sister, Yoshikawa closed the door. Rustling could be heard before the door opened again.

"All done?" Masane asked.

"Yep!"

"Let's get going then."

The three of them walked down the hall until they came across the Gymnasium and pushed the doors open, greeted by the sight of their friends.

Suga saw them first and nodded as a greeting before her eyes fell on Yoshikawa and she gave a small smile.

"Hey there kid. I'm Suga Mizokami."

"Hi! I'm Yoshikawa!" He grinned back at her.

"Alright so... yesterday was kinda a whirlwind so let's talk about it again, shall we?" Fuuko rationalized.

"What's there to talk about?" Kougyoku sneered. "We searched the school, found some rooms, found a bloody message from the mastermind, Suga deadnamed Rigen, Fuuko slapped Suga in return, Masane gambled with her and her brothers life, her brother was put into a killing game and we had macaroni and cheese. "

Everyone gave her a glare as Koichi typed in, "Clearly the mac and cheese was neccessary to comment on." with an eyeroll.

"Damn right." Kougyoku smirked.

"Well anyways. What should we do today?" Fuuko steered them back on track.

"Maybe we could look around some more?" Yumiyo suggested.

"Great idea!" Kenho gave a lopsided grin. "Maybe we could learn some new info."

"Can I go with sissy?" Yoshikawa peered up at Masane, hopeful.
