After a few hours, Steve ended up leaving, even if he didn't really want to. He insisted that he wanted to make me company, even if he didn't really understand what was going on. I told him to go home and that I'd see him tomorrow.

I was laying in my bed, thinking about what Hopper told me. Eleven was gone... she went to find her mother, meaning that there was a probability of her never coming back. Hopper told me last year that her mother was not okay mentally, that there was no way that se could take care of El, that's why he adopted her. I just hope this whole thing doesn't break El's heart...

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my window. Of course, this was all I needed right now. As if my day wasn't being bad enough. I opened my window and started rambling.

"Look, Billy this is really not a good-" I stopped myself as soon as I saw his face. No, his wounds weren't worse, but he was crying.

"I had nowhere else to go." He mumbled.

"Oh, Billy... come in." I said stepping out of the way so he could come in.

As soon as he got inside, I engulfed him in a hug.

"Are you okay?" He asked me quietly.

"No. But I will be." I said softly. "Are you okay?"

"No... but I will be." He said on the same tone.

We laid on my bed and just enjoyed each other's presence.

"Are you still mad at me?" He asked me after a while.

"A little bit. I still don't like what you did to Steve, but I'll let it slide... for now." I said narrowing my eyes at him playfully.

"Good." He said placing his arms around me, pulling me closer. I never thought we'd be in this position but oh well, never say never, I guess.

"Are you going to tell me what happened?" I asked him.

"Are you?" He asked back.

"Touché." I said laughing quietly.

"Did... did Steve make you sad?" He asked me hesitantly.

"What? Why do you ask that?" I asked confused.

"He spent the day with you, and I know that you've been crying. Your eyes are puffy." He said analyzing my face.

"Good job, but no. Steve didn't do anything, in fact, he actually helped me a lot." I said sighing. "The daughter of a family friend ran away from home to her biological parents... we were really close and I'm afraid that she's not coming back." I said sadly. Billy stroked my hair softly, trying to sooth me.

"My dad... we had a fight, and he said some shit about me and... my mom." He whispered.

"Oh, baby..." I said before holding him closer to me. Yes, I called him baby. Don't ask me why I did it because I have no clue. It just came out naturally.

We stayed like this until we fell asleep. In the next morning, I woke up without Billy next to me, but with a note.

"Thanks for being there for me. – B"

For some odd reason, I couldn't help but smile like an idiot.

After getting dressed I went to the couch and turned on the TV. I wanted to be able to enjoy my Saturday doing absolutely nothing.
