As I let go of Steve, I looked around and saw Eleven looking at something, so I decided to go to her.

"El, are you okay?" I asked as I saw her almost crying as she looked around.

Not even 5 seconds later, she collapsed in my arms.

"El!" I exclaimed.

"What's wrong with her?" Erica asked as they ran towards us.

"What's wrong?" Mike asked her.

"My leg... my leg." She cried.

Jonathan quickly took off the bandage and it looked horrible. Then, we saw something move inside the wound.

"What is that?" Erica asked disgusted.

"There's something in there!" Mike pointed out.

"Yeah, no shit Mike!" I told him.

"Jesus Christ." Dustin said as he looked at it.

"Keep her talking. Keep her awake, okay?" Jonathan told us urgently and he got up to grab something.

It was chaotic.

"It's gonna be okay, El." I said as I held her tight. Her screams broke my heart.

"Hey, hey, hey. El, stay awake!" Mike told her. "Let's get her on this side." Mike told me.

"You know it's actually not that bad. The goalie on my soccer team, Beth Wildfire, this other girl slid into her leg, and like the whole the bone came out of her knee. It was like 6 inches or something. It was insane." Robin ranted.

"Robin." Steve called.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"You're not helping the situation here." I told her.

"I'm sorry." She said nervously.

Jonathan cam back running with a knife on his hand and knelt down next to El's leg.

"Okay. Alright, El?" He asked. "This is gonna hurt like hell, okay?"

"Okay." She sobbed. I caressed her head trying to sooth her, but that could only do so much in this situation.

"Need you to stay real still." Jonathan told her. "Here, she's gonna want to bite down on this." He said as he handed me a wood spoon.

"Jesus Christ." Dustin muttered.

Before cutting her leg, he looked at me and Mike for confirmation. We glanced at each other before nodding at Jonathan.

"Do it." We told him.

"Okay." Jonathan said to himself before starting to cut her leg.

As the knife started cutting her skin, El yelled in pain as she bit the spoon.

"Oh shit." Dustin said once the cut was made.

El's painful screams doubled as his hand went into her cut, trying to put whatever it was inside her leg, out.

"Jonathan!" Nancy exclaimed as she looked wide eyed at Eleven.

"Stop talking!" He exclaimed.

He went deeper, as the thing always ran away from his fingers.

"Goddamn it!" Jonathan yelled in frustration.

"No! Stop!" El yelled.

"Jonathan, that's enough!" I exclaimed as Nancy pushed him back, pulling him out of focus.
