"I think we need to talk." I told him.

"Yeah, I believe we do." He said back.

I pushed my legs down from the couch, so he could sit down next to me. As he was about to talk, I cut him off.

"I didn't show up for our date because Steve and I had to take care of kids. There's something really dangerous going on, so they needed us." I explained.

"Mavis,"

"How could you?" I asked once my eyes met his. "How could you do this, Billy? Threaten a kid?! Almost fucking killing my best friend?! What the fuck is wrong with you?!"

"How did you expect me to react?! I was getting ready for our fucking date when my dad came in, yelling at me because I lost Max, and then he wanted me to cancel our date to look after her. I was fucking hurt and I needed you... but I went to your house, you weren't there. I spoke to your mom, and she told me you hadn't been home all day. After asking around, I finally came here and found you with him, and my stepsister." He ranted.

"No matter how fucking bad you felt, you lost every right when you laid a hand on Lucas. You laid a hand on a kid that's part of my family... and as if that wasn't enough, you almost killed my best friend! I don't think I can't forgive that..." I said as I felt my eyes burn.

"I wasn't thinking. I was so pissed off because of my dad, that I just wanted to let that anger out..."

"Yeah, well you better start thinking about your actions instead of acting like a 10-year-old." I scolded.

"I'm sorry... you're right. J-Just, please, whatever you do... please don't leave me." He begged as a tear ran down his face.

I know he didn't mean to, and I can't forgive him right away, but... I am willing to wait for improvement. If I see that he's actually changing, I'll forgive him.

Suddenly, it was like a lightbulb had turned on in his brain. His expression went from sad to confused. Shit... he remembers.

"Wait... when I was fighting Harrington... I was pulled away from him. It-it was you... you-you did that... H-How?" He stuttered, trying to wrap his mind about what he had witnessed.

I sighed and looked back at him.

"I never thought I'd have to tell you this. Mainly because I wanted you to have a normal life, but I guess that's not possible anymore, so... here it goes."

And that's when I told him.

I told him everything, from my past, to last year, to the Demogorgons and Eleven, to Hopper hiding Eleven, to Dustin adopting Dart, to the development of the demo-dogs, to this exact moment.

He stood there a few seconds quiet.

"So... y-you have powers?"

"Yes."

"And these aliens-"

"-demogorgons."

"-Demogorgons, are from a different dimension?"

"Yes."

"And the guys that experimented on you also opened the gate to that dimension?"

"Also yes."

"And Eleven has powers too?"

"Yes."

"And last year you had to fight those things?"

"Yes."

"And this year these demo things-"

"Demo-dogs."
