When Clare and Elizabeth got to school the next morning, it was time to get ready for the fall festival. It was time to get ready for the fall festival. Clare was so excited.
As she entered the gymnasium, the sight of flames and smoke filled the air. Clare was scared. She had to do something to help. She couldn't let Elizabeth die. She rushed to her rescu but it was too late. She had lost her best friend. Now how was she going to tell Elizabeth's parents? They would be heartbroken!
Finally everyone was out of the school. Clare watched as the school burned down. Clare knelt to the ground and cried. She heart was shattered. She wished that thee was a way to save the school but most importantly, she wished that she had saved her best friend.
"Hey!" The principal yelled, stop crying! There's nothing to cry about. The school will be rebuilt within a few weeks. Until then the, all the students have a few weeks to recover from this tragic event. Everyone deserves time off every now and then."
"I lost my best friend!" Clare said, I have to go home and tell her parents this. They are going to be heartbroken and it's all my fault! They won't want me around anymore and I won't have a place to stay."
The primal knelt beside Clare. He didn't like to see her like this. It was sad to see her like this and he wanted to do what had could to help her.
Clare continued to cry as all of the people gathered around her. It was sad to see her so sad. Now it was time for her to go back home to tell Elizabeth's parents what had happened
When she got home, Elizabeth's parents were in the kitchen and they were very emotional. They were both crying and holding each other. They had already found out about the tragic event and their hearts had shattered.
"I should have saved Elizabeth." Clare said, I am so sorry. I hope that you will forgive me. Now I don't have a place to stay. I going to have to move out."
Elizabeth's parents put their arms around her. They didn't like to see her so sad. It was hard to see her like this. This event effected her as well.
:we don't like to see you like this." Elizabeth's dad said, we won't let you leave. We are happy to have you here especially since Elizabeth has passed away. Her funeral is next week. We would love it if you could give a speech at the funeral."
Clare had a speech prepared for this event. It was going to be hard to give a speech knowing that sh was going to break down in tears.
On Monday, it was time for the funeral. Clare practiced her speech ov3er and over until she had it down pat. She hoped that she would do a good job with the speech. When the car arrived at the church. People were sitting in the pews. They were all crying. Seeing this made Clare want to cry. Finally, she lost it. Hher tears were unbareable. The funeral went on as planned and it seemed like nothing would ever b3 the same.
