The past few months were wonderful. Clare loved the convention and now it was coming to an end. It was the last day of the conation Clare would be sad to leave New York so soon.
This band contest at the end of the convention was the big band contest. The grand prize was 900 million dollars. Clare hoped that she would win. She was all ready to go.
When everyone was in the room, Clare was the first one to play for the contest. Everything was going well and nothing was going to stop Clare from winning the contest. She was done within a few minutes.
The judging went by quickly and then it was time for the grand prize winner to be announced. Everyone waited excitedly. The people clapped and cheered wehen Clare recited the prize. She was so excited. Now it was time to go cash the check .
The next morning, it was time to go home. Clare was excited to see Kristen and her family. Kristen would be so happy that Clare was going to be coming home. It was going to be a special day for her. Little did Clare know that Kristen and her family were planning a special party to celebrate her return.
