Everything was going very well in Clare's childhood. Clare was having fun with her family and her friends preschool. All was going well until Clare's Aunt Alice was diagnosed with breast cancer. When Clare found out about this, her heart had shattered. She didn't know if Aunt Alice was going to be okay. Her fear began to rise.
Every day Clare went to visit Aunt Alice. She hoped and prayed for her to recover. She got better for the next few weeks then it got worse again. Clare was scared. She had never imagined that this would ever happen.
A few months later, all went downhill. Aunt Alice was dying. All was lost and after her death, Clare was heartbroken. She cried and cried at her funeral. Everyone was laughing at her. She was not going to let that stop her from showing emotion. The people didn't believe that Clare should show sadness at a funeral. Clare continued to cry and her heart felt as if it was breaking.
