Seara had no idea how long she had been out, but when she woke she found herself in a bed once again. As she sat up she realized what had covered her was Vergil's coat, seemingly since there was an absence of blankets in the room, but Vergil was no where to be seen. Without thinking, she raised the rim of his coat to her face and took in a slow breathe. Ozone and mint filled her nose causing her to close her eyes, it was a fitting scent for him she thought. There was something else there but she couldn't quite find it, but before she could try to think any harder on it she heard footsteps outside the door. Pulling the coat away from her face, Seara tried to stand as the door opened but very quickly lost her balance as she tried to step forward. Her legs gave out from under her and she headed for the floor, however before she could brace herself a pair of arms wrapped around her and pulled her tightly into their owners body. Once again ozone and mint filled her nose and Seara almost couldn't pull her face from his vest-covered torso knowing her face was probably flushed having become aware of who held her so close. "You seem to still be having issues" Vergil's voice was so close to her ear it caused a shiver to run down her spine "probably should have brought that spine to have a closer look at it" he began to pull her away and she had to latch onto his shoulders to keep herself up. "I'm sorry..I just reacted to having it jammed into my neck and pulled it away" her grip on is shoulders tightened and her inner devil tried to comfort her while purring at Vergil's closeness at the same time. Seara could feel Vergil shake his head "it isn't your fault, anyone of us should have thought about it" he moved her back to sit on the bed and kneeled down in front of her leaning in close to her face. Seara's breathe hitched and her inner devil tried pushing her to lean forward, but she held back to avoid doing something she knew was stupid. He wouldn't...he doesn't even really like me... she told herself as Vergil gently took her head in his hands and shifted her to the side. He surveyed around her neck where the spine had stuck her to see if he could find anything.
Bite. Vergil's inner devil urged him on, tempted him to throw away his self-control that he took so much pride in. As he leaned closer to her neck he forced his inner devil into silence to focus on his examination of the area she had been wounded in earlier. There was nothing giving any hints at what could be afflicting her which caused him to growl audibly. He felt Seara tense under him and cursed himself for not catching the growl before it slipped out. He had harmed her once...with his intentions not meant to be so negative...so he understood her feelings. "There's nothing to go off of to know if it may have been the spine. Just rest for now, we will see what we can do tomorrow" he went to get up, barely managing to keep from giving in to his inner devil's pushing to take her. Foolishness..there is no reason for this to be happening, these feelings aren't real. He tried so hard to convince himself that it was stupid to think he had feelings for Seara, especially with how things started out. It was his fault after all and he was sure what happened was enough for her to laugh in his face even if he were to give in and accept these feelings. The thought actually irritated him, made him feel the need to know if she would and take her with everything he had if she didn't. He shook his head what the hell is happening to me? he questioned as he finally managed to stand. He looked down at Seara to see a barely visible pink tint across her face that almost broke him. Did she do that every time he was around her? or was she like then when anyone got close? "Vergil?" her voice snapped him out of his thoughts as she held his coat in her lap "do you want this back? I appreciate it but-". The shaking of his head stopped her from finishing "there were no more blankets, you can use that until we leave, it's fine".
Seara finally relaxed and let her breathing continue as Vergil finally separated from her and sat on the couch across from her. He had been so close to her neck that her inner devil screamed at him to bite her as if he could hear. Sometimes she really hated it, but then it said things she wasn't sure she could. But she knew there was no way Vergil could like her... right? Sure he had loosened up around her fairly quickly but he still felt so unapproachable and cold. It still felt like the stare he kept on her was filled with some form of malice, even though her inner devil would tell her that wasn't it. A few hours passed and Seara had fallen asleep again much to her own irritation. Apparently she had woken up before noon when Vergil had stopped her fall and she couldn't stand on her own even after another hour. Vergil basically forced her back into the bed and after a minute or so began to read aloud to her which made her feel a little better. At first she dreamt of things before her father lost his mind... when they were a family. They were dreams she almost never had but returned to her a little while after she accepted her power. But soon it was like she wasn't dreaming at all and she found herself walking in an area of nothing but fog. Suddenly a voice called to her that she never wanted to hear so close. Her father was calling her, laced in the demonic voice he held in their previous altercation. Come to me...the time is drawing near... your power...OUR power will burn this worthless world to ashes. Seara opened her eyes slowly, where they once held a beautiful electric blue shine they now burned a sinister green and without even realizing what was happening her body began to move on its own. Vergil...where is Vergil?! she started to panic when she saw he was no longer on the couch and heard the voices in the other room. Dante's laugh was the most audible along with Vergil's low, growling voice and no matter how hard she fought to call out to them her voice never even started to form. It felt like her inner devil had been forced into a deep sleep rendering it unable to help as her fathers voice continued to draw her body towards the balcony and into the air. Even as her inner devil slept, her trigger activated against her will and took her into the now darkening sky. She tried and tried to fight against her fathers voice with no success as she flew for who knows how long, she was moving so fast she couldn't even take in images of her surroundings. After what felt like an eternity, Seara saw a large structure grow the closer she got to it causing her panic to increase. Her speed began to slow before she landed on some sort of protruding ledge from the top of the structure which she was able to see that it was rounded with spikes along the far back edge. Her father was there in his demonic form facing away from her towards a strange demonic flower looking thing which to her mounting panic held the body of her brother inside a clear, blood filled bulb. Her father turned to face her as another, larger flower shot up from the center of the platform and opened up. Once again her body moved on it's own as her father ordered her to take her place on the demonic flower which started to close and drown her in blood as she stepped onto it. This can't happen! whatever he is doing... please! she mustered all her strength as his face formed in her mind... "Vergil!!"
Something suddenly made Vergil's skin crawl in a way he had never felt before. He felt a terror that wasn't his and it alarmed him as he couldn't understand where it was coming from. Dante was sitting across from him, picking on him after having noticed Vergil's pacing after he left the room he shared with Seara. Dante knew what was going on, and he'd be damned if he wasn't gonna let Vergil know he was aware, even if Vergil himself wouldn't admit it. He had fallen in love with Seara. Dante seemed to notice his brother's sudden distress and his gaze hardened "Verg? what is it?" he leaned forward on the table in the dining area of the large room the group had rented out. Vergil had stopped pacing as he struggled to get himself under control and closed his eyes. He focused as hard as he could thankful that Dante stayed quiet as he felt more emotions that weren't his. Finally he heard her.. screaming his name with absolute fear. Vergil's eyes shot open and he took off towards the bedroom he shared with Seara "Vergil?!" Dante called but he didn't stop to answer as he heard the doors from the other rooms open. As he reached the door he just about tore it off the hinges as he surveyed the room. Seara was gone. Vergil entered the room and looked to the balcony that he was positive wasn't open before he left while Dante entered behind him, the words that formed in his younger brother's head slowly trickled from his mouth "son of a bitch".
