ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 7 - ɢᴏᴏᴅ ᴅᴀʏs..?

                               -𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧-
Welp my mom lost custody of me and my brother but thankfully my brother somehow convicted Dylan to let us live with her until Koa finishes college and we can move out. I never thought Dylan of all people would be my saving grace but I'm entirely grateful for her and her parents for opening their home to us.

Not to mention her and her parents are filthy fucking rich so living here isn't too bad, that's if you don't mention the tiny fight we get into on a daily basis. With the luxury of having the most popular girl in school as your roommate people actually want to be my friend now.

Granted they only want to come over to gush over Dylan but it's friends none the less, even if I know their true intentions aren't really to be MY friend. From getting bullied to being the person people wish to be, never thought I'd see the day. Me and Don even started dating about a couple weeks ago. So I could say life is going pretty smoothly for once.

Well that was until today Sunday, December 12th.

"Hey, Tally wanna go to the store with me?" Koa says getting his keys.

"Yea! I'm right behind you." I jump up from the couch and over to the shoe rack getting my beat up converse and slipping them on.

We walk out get into the car bump up the music and go on our way. I watch as we pass by the outlet where all the stores are.

"Uh, dude you are aware we totally passed the stores right?" I say turning down the music.

"Oh did I say we were going to the store? I meant we're going somewhere tip top secret. Basically we're going on a secret mission." He says raising an eyebrow and smiling at me.

I shake my head and turn the music back up. Where could we possible be going thats so secretive? I swear if he takes me to see mom someone's fingers are coming off.

We pull into a random driveway and he shuts off the car and looks at me with a big smile on his face.

"Uh. What's happening?" I say slowly sliding towards the door.

"Welcome to our new house!" He says dangling a pair of keys.

"WHAT REALLY!" I give him a hug and jump out the car.

"Look! There isn't any broken stairs or broken banisters!" I say spinning around.

"Yup and you and Zero won't have to share a room, we all get our own rooms." Koa says walking towards the stairs.

We walk inside and I squeal in excitement checking every room.

"THE LIGHTING IS AMAZING!" I yell.

I walk back downstairs into the kitchen where Koa stands looking out the window admiring the backyard, I jump up to sit on the counter.

"Where the hell did you even find the money for this place?" I say looking in the cabinet behind me.

"You know that job I have that has me basically working all hours of the day?"

"Yea..?"

"Well I was actually working with Dylan's dad, he said if I help him with a project he would give me a loan to help me get on my feet." He says walking over and sitting on the counter with me.

"Oh that makes sense, I guess? Is Dylan moving in with us too?"

"Uh, No I actually haven't told her yet. Cause you know how she gets, I just decided to tell her when I knew it was official so she can't talk me out of it."

"Well I sure would looovee to see when you tell her, I'll have the police on speed dial and popcorn ready." I say nudging him and laughing.

"Yea well about that I was hoping we could do it together? Like you be my wing woman or my back up you know." He says with wrapping his arm around me.

"No. No no no no no no no, NO! You know she already doesn't like me Koa. I'm not gonna give her another reason to hate me." I jump off the counter and fold my arms.

"Come on pleeeaaseeee! I can't do it alone." He says getting on his knees at my feet.

"No."

"If you help me you can have the biggest room."

I gesture for more, he sighs.

"And I'll give you driving lessons." He says rolling his eyes.

"Deal."

He picks me up and hugs me.

"Ok! Ok! Put me down dummy!"

We inspected the house more, pointing at random spots saying what we're going to put there. Then we hop in the car and head back home.

Once we arrive I see Dylan outside on the patio doing yoga. Me and Koa look at each other and make our way out.

"Hey booboo bear!" Dylan says landing a big kiss on Koa's cheek.

Fucking cringe. I swear if Adonis ever di-

"Yea! What were you going to say Taleaz." Koa says with a suspicious smile.

"I wasn't say-" Koa elbows me in the stomach.

I'm about sick and tired of him interrupting me and my thoughts.

"Oh yea, right. Well Dylan Koa found us a place and we're moving soon. Anyways gotta go bye" I try running off but Koa grabs my arm.

"What? Baby you found us a place? Well that's fantastic!" Dylan says about to give him a hug but he stretches his arm out and stops her.

"Not us as in US but us as in Zero, Taleaz and I."

It's silent for a little and I can't tell whether or not she's going to cry or bite his head off but I cover my ears anyway. Then they bursts out into a full fledged argument.

We should've just left in the dead of night instead of telling her in my opinion but of course nobody takes ideas from me.
