Third Person POV

Back in Asgard, Loki, Lady Sif and the Warriors Three were sitting in a room with a fire lit in the center. "We should never have let him go." Volstagg stated with a cup of ale in his hand. Lady Sif looked at the large warrior. "There was no stopping him. I can't believe Y/N also took the blame."

Fandral spoke from his spot on the ground. "At least they're banished, not dead. Which is we'd all be if that guard hadn't old Odin we were gone." Loki stood silent as he stared at his hand. During the fight in Jotunheim, a Frost Giant had grabbed him. Instead of his arm burning, it had turned blue. The same color as the Frost Giants skin.

"How would the guard even know?" Volstagg asked as Hogun healed his arm. Loki turned his head to the Asgardian. "I told him." The room fell silent as Fandral looked at the God of Mischief in disbelief. "What?"

Loki turned to the bearded man. "I told him to go to Odin after we'd left. He should be flogged for taking so long. We should never have made it to Jotunheim." "You told the guard?!" Volstagg shouted at the black haired man. "I saved our lives. And Thor's and Y/N's. I had no idea that Father would banish him for what he did nor did I think Y/N would take blame either."

Lady Sif stood up and walked to Loki. "Loki. You must go to the Allfather and convince him to change his mind." "And if I do, then what? I loved Thor and Y/N more dearly then any of you, but you know what they are. They're arrogant. They're reckless. They're dangerous. You saw how Thor was today. Is that what Asgard needs from its king?" Loki stormed out of the room.

Lady Sif turned to the Warriors Three. "He may speak for the good of Asgard, but he's always been jealous of Thor." Volstagg glanced down before looking up. "We should be grateful to him. He saved our lives."

"Laufey said there were traitors in the House of Odin. A master of magic could bring three Jotuns into Asgard." Hogun stated, breaking his silence. Fandral looked at his friend in complete confusion. "Loki's always been one for mischief, but you're talking about something else entirely."

Once Loki left, he felt the need to go into The Vault beneath the city. He approached the Casket of Ancient Winters. He felt the urge to pick up the glowing casket, so he did. Loki looked at the object intently before a booming voice came from behind him. "STOP!"

Loki froze. He instantly recognized the voice. It was Odin. "Am I cursed?" He asked his father. "No." Odin responded. Loki set the casket down. "Then what am I?" "You are my son." Odin replied, proudly.

The God of Mischief turned around to reveal the same skin color and red eyes of a Frost Giant. He glared at his father as his skin turned to the normal tone. "What more then that?" He started walking toward his father. "The casket wasn't the only thing you took from Jotunheim that day was it?"

Odin looked at his son with a look of guilt. "No. In the aftermath of the battle, I went into the temple and I found a baby. Small for a Giant's offspring. Abandoned. Suffering. Left to die. Laufey's son." Odin recalled the day as if it was the day before.

Loki looked off to the side. "Laufey's son." He looked to his father to see if he was telling the truth. "Yes." Loki was stunned beyond all belief. "Well, then what of Y/N? On Jotunheim, he used the same the powers that the Frost Giants posess." Odin closed his one eye and glanced downward. "He is quarter Frost Giant. His mother was the daughter of an Asgardian warrior and a Frost Giant that escaped to Asgard for freedom from Laufey."

Loki began to breathe heavy. "Why? You were knee deep in Jotun blood. Why would you take me?" Odin looked to his surrogate son. "You were an innocent child." Loki glared at his father with hatred. "No. You took me for a purpose. What was it?" Odin remained silent. "TELL ME!" Loki shouted as his voice echoed of the walls.

"I thought we could unite our kingdoms one day. Bring about an alliance. Bring about permanent peace. Through you." Odin responded. That drove Loki over the lone. "What?" "But those plans no longer matter."

Loki huffed as his eyes welled. "So, then I am no more then another stolen relic, locked up her until you might have use for me?" Odin stared at his son. "Don't twist my words-" "You could have me what I was from the beginning. Why didn't you?" Loki questioned.

"You're my son. I wanted only to protect you from the truth." Odin told him. Loki spoke with a broken voice. "What? Because I'm the monster who parents tell their children about at night?" Odin began getting weary. "No, no..."

"Oh, it all makes sense, now. Why you favored Thor and Y/N all these years. Because no matter how much you claim to love me you could never have a Frost Giant claim the Throne of Asgard!" Loki said to the weak Odin, who had now collapsed on the steps and had stopped breathing.

Loki broke through his anger as he kneeled down next to the King of Asgard. He gently grabbed onto his hand before yelling. "Guards! Guards! Please help!" Two guardsman walked in  and saw the Allfather fallen and weak.

(A/N. I'm going to be doing two chapters a day hopefully depending on the day if nothing's going on. So look forward to that.)
