Third Person POV

Everyone, apart from Natasha, Thor, and Banner, gathered in the Control Room. Steve, Tony, and Y/N sat at the table as Fury stood at the head of the table. He shuffled Captain America cards in his hand, which we were stained with Coulson's blood. "These were in Phil Coulson's jacket. I guess he never did get you to sign them." He tossed the cards in front of Steve, who looked upon them with a sad gaze.

Fury took a breath. "We're dead in the air up here. Our communications, the location of the Cube, Banner, Thor..." Y/N looked down upon hearing his father name. "I got nothing for you. I lost my one good eye."

Fury leaned on the table. "Maybe I had that coming." He walked around the table. "Yes, we were going to build an arsenal with the Tesseract. I never put all my chips on that number, though, because I was playing something even riskier."

He remained quiet until he spoke up again. "There was an idea, Stark knows this," Fury stated, gesturing toward the billionaire. "called the Avengers Initiative. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if they could become something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles we never could. Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea. In heroes." Upon hearing that, Tony abruptly stood up and exited the room.

Fury watched Tony leave and folded his hand behind his back. "Well, it's an old-fashioned notion."

Y/N's POV

After Fury's talk in Control Room, I walked the halls alone, watching people try to fix holes in the ship. I sighed and continued until I found an empty room with different crates. No one was there, so I sat on one of the crates.

I closed my eyes and breathed heavily. I opened my eyes and took my mother necklace out of my armor. With my Father missing, this is the only thing that provides some comfort to me. I looked at it as it emanated in my hand.

I feel my eyes slowly begin to close eyes. I guess I was more tired then I thought. I closed my eyes and drifted asleep.

Once I opened my eyes, I found myself in the palace. "What in Odin's name?" I looked around and saw no one around me. "Like it? Thought I'd give you something familiar, so you don't freak out too much." I turned around to see the stranger behind me. My eyes widened at who was standing there.

The black hair.

The dark eyes.

"Mother?"

"Mother?"

(A/N. Yep. Gina Carano is your mom. Imagine her with Asgardian robes with these colors.)

"What? No hug for dear old mom?" Mom stated, smirking. Not knowing what to do, I walked toward her before running and dropping to my knees, hugging her tightly. My eyes swelled up with tears as I embraced her tightly. She caressed my head while her other hand wrapped around my shoulders.
