Y/N's POV

"Move your arm a bit more. Focus on the target." I told Luta as she pulled back the string on the bow. After getting home from Midgard, she expressed interest in archery after witnessing soldiers practicing it.

(A/N. In case of anyone wondering, Luta is about 8-9 I would say around this time.)

After helping her with her footwork, I saw her narrow her eyes at the target in front of her. "Slow and steady. Exhale upon release." I heard her breath in and out before firing the arrow which hit the target on one of the inner rings. Her face lit up as she turned to me. "Father! Father! I got it!" My smile widened as I ruffle her hair. "You're getting better by the day, my little blomst!"

We then heard the sound of the Bifrost beam in the distance. "Grandfather must be back. Wanna go say hi?" I asked Luta. Her eyes lit up as she nodded her head. Father had been away along with Lady Sif and the Warriors Three helping organize the chaos Uncle had brought to the other realms.

We started to walk toward the stairs to leave the training grounds. We made it to where Grandfather was standing. He looked to Luta. "I see you're becoming quite the marksman, Luta. You have done well." Luta smiled as she stared at him. "Thank you, Great Grandfather."

We heard footsteps behind us as we turn around and see Father walking up to us. Luta ran up to him. "Grandfather!" Father smiled as he knelt down and hugged his granddaughter. "Hey, Luta! How's my favorite little girl today?" Luta tightened her grip on him. "Good. I missed you." Father smiled and kissed the side of her head. "I missed you, too."

Father stood up and walked over to Grandfather with Luta next to him. "Is Vanaheim secure?" Grandfather questioned, looking over the training soldiers. Father nodded. "As are Nornheim and Ria. Though our work would have gone more quickly with you at the fore."

Grandfather glanced over at him. "You must think I'm a piece of bread that needs to be buttered so heavily." Father chuckled. "That was not my intent." "For the first time since Bifrost was destroyed, the Nine Realms are at peace. They're well reminded of our strength and you have earned their respect and my gratitude."

Father looked down as he nodded. "Thank you." Grandfather looked to him. "Nothing out of order except for your confused and distracted heart." Father raised an eyebrow. "This isn't about Jane Foster, Father."

"Human live are fleeting, they're nothing. You'd be better served by what lies in front of you." Grandfather gestured to Lady Sif as she took down a guard and looked at us. "I am telling you this, not as the Allfather, but as your father. You are ready. The time has come for you to take the throne. Embrace and celebrate what you've won. Join your warriors. Eat and drink, revel in their celebration. At least pretend to enjoy yourself." Grandfather stated as he walked around the balcony.

Third Person POV

After Odin had talked with Thor, everyone had gathered in the Feast hall in celebration of peace finally being settled in all the realms. Thor smiled as he looked around his people. He saw Volstagg with a little girl on his lap as he finished his drink. "Another!" He shouted, tossing his cup as the other Asgardians cheered.

He looked until he saw his son with Luta sitting at a table with others around him as he told them of her archery skills. He gave one last smile as he set his drink down and walked out of the hall.

Thor continued walking until he found Lady Sif. "There was a time when would celebrate for weeks." Lady Sif stated. Thor smiled a little. "I remember you celebrated the Battle of Harokin so much that you nearly started the second." "Well, the first was so much fun." Lady said, sharing a smile with the God of Thunder.
