Part 15 : young and whole men do not necessarily remain so

It was almost the end of the school year for Harry and at that time he was running a mission from Dumbledore.
Hogwarts-
Tonks and Jacob have been undercover keeping an eye on Harry. Suddenly Rafael and Sam appear and tell them to send a patronus.
Jacob: what! why?
Rafael:death eaters
Meanwhile in the astronomy tower-
Draco: He trusts me. I was chosen.
Dumbledore:I shall make it easy for you.
Draco: Expelliarmus!
Dumbledore:Very good. Very good. You're not alone. There are others. How?
Back to Jacob and Tonks-
Tonks: I will send it, let's split up to try and cover some ground until reinforcements arrive

Nat was in her kitchen making food for her and Sirius when a wolf patronus burst in the kitchen she thought it was Remus, the wolf started to deliver the message at this Nat and Sirius started to gather their wand ready to disapparate. Nat noticed Sirius was ready to leave; she did the first thing that came to mind and petrified him. She knew he was going to yell once she released him but for now it was for the best.
The order arrived at Hogwarts. They can see chaos inside and start to move students to a safe place. Nat was fighting and noticed Greyback attacking someone. She noticed red orange hair and started to run toward Greyback. Nat didn't make it on time. Greyback had escaped. Nat thought it was one of the twins. She turned the body and gasped. It was Bill.
Everyone was in the hospital discussing what had happened. Then the doors of the hospital wing burst open, making them all jump. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were striding up the ward, Fleur just behind them, her beautiful face terrified.
Professor McGonagall: Molly Arthur I am so sorry
Mrs Weasley: Bill
Molly walked by Professor McGonagall as she caught sight of Bill's mangled face.
Molly:Oh, Bill!
Remus and Nat got up hastily and retreated so that Mr. and Mrs. Weasley could get nearer to the bed. Mrs. Weasley bent over her son and pressed her lips to his bloody forehead.
Mr. Weasley: You said Greyback attacked him?
Arthur looks towards Professor McGonagall distractedly.
Mr. Weasley:But he wasn't transformed? So what does that mean? What will happen to Bill?
Professor McGonagall: We don't yet know
She then looked helplessly at Remus.
Remus: There will probably be some contamination, Arthur. It is an odd case, possibly unique...We don't know what his behavior might be like when he awakens...
Nat: He might be like me(they looked at Nat intently, they knew she was a born wolf so how can Bill be like her? She continued to explain) I was born and not made. I couldn't be a full wolf because my mother was half veela. When a wolf bites their mate marking them as their other half they release a bit of venom it mixes in their DNA they can't shift but have some wolf tendencies, now throw in a baby. The babe carries half the fathers DNA and the other half is the mothers in my case I carry her veela side as well. It is part of her DNA. If my mother wasn't a veela I would still be half wolf because of my fathers DNA. Remus:right.                         Nat:but the possibility of him being a Demi-wolf are high even if greyback was not transformed he manages to keep wolf venom in his claws and teeth the moment he attacked Bill with his claws the venom enters Bills bloodstream it alters his DNA,but remember even if he doesn't transform the full moon will call to him.
Remus was in awe. She was beautiful and smart. Mr. Weasley was grateful that his son was alive.
Molly was applying ointment to Bill's wound when she asked if Dumbledore was really dead.Harry felt Ginny move beside him and looked at her. Her slightly narrowed eyes were fixed on Fleur, who was gazing down at Bill with a shocked expression on her face.
Dumbledore is gone, whispered Molly but Mrs. Weasley had eyes for her eldest son, she began to sob, tears falling onto Bill's mutilated face.
Mrs. Weasley :Of course, it doesn't matter how he looks...It's not r-really important...but he was a very handsome little b-boy...always very handsome...and he was g-going to be married!
Fluer:And what do you mean by zat?! What do you mean he was going to be married?!
Mrs. Weasley raised her tear-stained face, looking startled.Well only that
Fluer: You theenk Bill will not wish to marry me anymore? You theenk, because of these bites, he will not love me?
Nat and Remus were watching the argument between both witches.
Mrs Weasley: No, that's not what I
Fluer: Because 'e will! (drawing herself up to her full height and throwing back her long silver hair.) It would take more zan a werewolf to stop Bill loving me!
Mrs. Weasley: Well, yes, I'm sure,but I thought perhaps given how(molly pauses) how he
Fluer:You thought I would not weesh to marry him? Or per'aps, you hoped?(Fluer was fuming) What do I care how he looks? I am good-looking enough for both of us, I theenk! All these scars show is zat my husband is brave! And I shall do zat!(she  replied fiercely and pushed Mrs. Weasley aside, snatching the ointment from her.
Mrs. Weasley walked towards her husband and watched Fleur looking up Bill's wounds with a most curious expression upon her face. Nobody said anything,Harry did not dare move. Like everybody else, he was waiting for the explosion.
Mrs. Weasley: Our Great-Auntie Muriel...has a very beautiful tiara goblin-made which I am sure I could persuade her to lend you for the wedding. She is very fond of Bill. you know, and it would look lovely with your hair.
Fluer:Thank you. I am sure zat will be lovely.
Harry did not quite see how it happened, both women were crying and hugging each other. Completely surprised, wondering whether the world had gone mad, he turned around,Ron looked as surprised as he felt ,Ginny and Hermione were exchanging startled looks.
Nat:You see!(she was glaring at Remus ). She still wants to marry him. even though he's been bitten! She doesn't care!
Remus: It's different(barely moving his lips and looking suddenly tense)Bill will not be a full werewolf. The cases are completely different.
Nat:But I don't care either, I don't care!( grabbing the front of Remus robes shaking them). I've told you since the moment we decided to give our bond a chance.
Remus:And I've told you what I felt that day! (He refused to meet her eyes, staring at the floor) that I am too old, too poor. You were just a pass time.
Nat wipes her tears away and stands up straight. She then composes herself, remembering what her mother always said: don't beg for love. My little wolf. The one chosen for you will come and if he doesn't reciprocate your love, then be the queen you are meant to be. Love always triumphs, even if it's not with your destined one.
Nat: I shall not bother you any longer. It is pathetic and unbecoming. Excuse me, I will go for a walk.
Mrs. Weasley: You are losing her, Remus. She can only put up with your rejections for so long. The day she decides to stop chasing after you it will be too late for you to win her back. Something tells me she will no longer wait for you.
Remus:I am not being ridiculous and I have made it clear on my feelings for her. Nat deserves somebody young and whole.
Mr. Weasley: But she wants you ( gives Remus a small smile) And after all, Remus, young and whole men do not necessarily remain so
Tonks follows Nat and goes up to her niece and enveloped her in a hug. She and Nat had worked out their differences after Jacob told her they were soulmates. Tonks was stunned, Nat explained the bond process,and the reason her magic was reaching out to Jacob. Tonks knew that Remus didn't return her feelings and it was time to move on. She had something special with Jacob and wanted to try and see where their relationship went.
Tonks knew what it feels to love someone that did not return their feelings, after all she once was in the same boat as her niece.
Nat waited until everyone left and only Fluer ,Mr. and Mrs. Weasley remained. She had asked if it was ok to treat some of Bill's wounds with her blood, even if her wolf/ veela were still silent she knew that her blood can heal it won't be as strong but it would get the job done.
She spoke to them and they agreed. They noticed how his wounds were shrinking and his face was no longer swollen.
Nat also told them her blood could only heal to a certain point. Fluer asked about his werewolf side to which she  replied that she already knew the answer. Fluer walked back to her seat and rested her head next to Bill's hand with a smile on her face. She says goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley and apparates home.
When she arrives home Sirius is still where she left him glaring at her. shit she thought it is now or never. She undid the spell.
Sirius was furious; he wanted to be there for her and Harry. He started to yell. Nat just let him vent.
Nat: it was for your own good!.
Sirius: I am old enough to make my own decisions!
Nat: And look what has happened when you make 'those decisions' . It has landed you in trouble twice, first Azkaban(Sirius winced)and then showing up at the department of mysteries you almost died! You got lucky I was there to pull you out! Today was hard on everyone. Sirius, Dumbledore is dead. Bill was attacked by Greyback. You can't keep making rash decisions that affect all of us.
Sirius: How old are you again?
Nat:19 going to 20 what does this have to do with the argument?!
Sirius: We missed your birthdays twice!
She gives him a look, Sirius returns back to the subject.
Sirius: You need to stop acting like the whole world depends on you. Take some time for yourself to be a teen I get that what we're all living at the moment is tough but please take a mental break, go out and live. I promise to start thinking more seriously before making a decision.
Nat: ok I will try but I can't guarantee I will be successful. Now, I need to sleep. It has been a tiring day and we will talk more tomorrow.
Sirius arrives in Grimmauld. He goes up to Remus' room and checks if he is there. He sees it is empty and goes to search in the library. He spots Remus picking out a book he quietly walks in and suddenly he yells Remus!
Remus jumps startled and drops the book in his hand. Sirius starts laughing hard, Remus just gives him an annoyed look and smiles at his friend's antics.Sirius stops laughing and starts asking about the events that happened earlier.
Sirius: how did he die?
Remus: Snape
Remus continues telling Sirius what happened at the end; they both retire to their rooms.
After Dumbledore's death Sirius and Remus left Grimmauld place it was no longer safe for them to stay there. Sirius was extra careful now Snape knew he was alive after all he was once part of the order and had trusted Snape with Sirius return.
