Chapter 12- You Love me Part 1 (Paul Stanley POV)

Our faces are getting closer & FINALLY I do something I've been wanting to do for 7 years.... At long last I cover his lips with my own. Slowly at first, sweetly then feeling more confident deepen our kiss and close the space between us by pulling him tighter to me. This is what I've been missing out on? The feel of him, the taste of him...the love of Tommy. This is what I've been CRAVING, have needed.... Why have I been such a coward? Why have both he & I danced around one another?

After what seems to be the sweetest of eternities, we part for breath. Tommy is still in my hold & I don't plan on letting go soon...no not at all.

"That-that was...wow!", Tommy sounds dazed, and a blush graces his features. "Can you...do it again?"

"Oh Tommy, you don't have to ask---," and with that once more I seal his lips with mine and I swear a slight groan resonates...from him or me, I can't tell.... nor do I care. All that matters is US. The feel of our lips together, it's priceless.

Reluctantly again we end up parting for air and I am lost in his eyes, the moment is interrupted by the arrival of Gene & Eric, both of whom are still fully costumed and made-up walking hand in hand and make-up smeared & not just from sweat either.... those two, really. I can't fault them though, no not at all.

Eric has a huge grin on his face, "So you two finally got together I take it?"

"Yes, we did Kitty...and from the smeared make-up I take it you & your husband REALLY got together.", Tommy quips with a shit-eating grin and I laugh...loudly. Eric flips him off & Gene just smirks.

"Seriously, we are happy for you both.... it's about time that the both of you were happy, you guys really deserve it.", Gene states softly.

I still have Tommy in my arms, and I look into those beautiful eyes of his & ask, "You want to get out of here & get something to eat? I mean I know it's late...", Tommy cuts me off...

"I'd love that! Plus, I'm starved...oooh maybe a diner or something? I could go for a burger & fries! Oh & a good milkshake!" Tommy enthuses and I chuckle.

"Sounds perfect! Let's go...Gene, Eric, we'll catch you guys later!", and with that we say good-bye to those two & head out into the night & go find a diner...We take my car, since well I'd brought Tommy earlier to the venue and we'd ate together this morning.

We get in the car & take off...listening to classic rock...which I enjoy & I know Tommy loves.... this just feels right and how hugely different from earlier in the day.

"Paul would this be considered our first official date?", Tommy looks so earnest & A little nervous, I pick up his hand with my free one & entwine our fingers together.

"I think that sounds perfect to me Tommy, sounds perfect to me. I love you!"

"I love you too, Paul...so much." Tommy smiles, such a beautiful smile and I know that I want to see it everyday for the rest of my life, that & the way he's looking at me right now.

Funnily enough we end up going to the diner we were at earlier in the day. Tommy bursts out laughing, "S-sorry, it's just that we are going to be their favorite patrons after this!"

His laugh is infectious, so I laugh too and really it is funny, and really, I am so thrilled Tommy is so happy right now. "But its perfect and especially because I'm here with you & now we are together. I'm excited to see where this goes." The look in his eyes is soft, and thankfully we have parked at this point, so I unbuckle & lean over and kiss him...my boyfriend. Something I've longed for, for so long.... I don't want to ever let this go...

We finally manage to quit kissing, though that's a herculean effort on both our parts and head inside and I hold the door open for him, and after all even the supposedly smallest things are really a big deal in that they really mean so much more than you think.

Funnily enough, we wind up in the same booth as when we had breakfast and soon enough the waitress comes & we order our food & I get the same thing Tommy gets.... like him it sounded good to me & this place has the most fantastic food!

"Gosh I'm starved...Thankfully I don't think Eric was paying attention or Gene when I mentioned the milkshake, ya know? You know how those two are when anyone mentions sugar!", Tommy chuckles.

"Tell me about it! Gene has always since I've known him been a sugar fiend! And Eric too, those two are made for each other", I laugh.

"Paul? Thank you, for not just this...but for finally telling me how you feel and too it felt so good to finally say the words I've been wanting to say for SO long...I love you!", Tommy's eyes are shiny with tears, but there's a smile on his face.

"Oh Tommy, no more hiding my heart...and it felt good for me as well, this here...us right now...this is all I need. And I love you too!", once more I seal my lips over his and not care if anyone's staring or not, Tommy is all I need...all I see right now.

Tommy, as far as first official dates go, this...this is amazing. Simply perfect, I still feel guilty for what I caused you to go thru, but I know now...it will be ok. I want to do this with you and now that I've told you how I feel & Vice-versa.... I realize now, I want to tell you & show you how much I love you for the rest of my life.
