Desna's pov:
I woke up in a familiar room, I looked over to see my sister drinking tea while talking with our mother.
"Desna, your awake" mother exclaimed rushing over to hug me.
"where is (y/n)" I asked, my throat was horse and croaky.
"The villagers said that she was taken by two suspected cult followers" Eska said walking over to me.
"Have you sent out any search parties?!?" I asked Eska frantically.
"Yes, there's been no sightings of her in the last 2 days" she replied looking away from me.
"Well let me up I need to find her" I said sitting up from my bed.
"No my boy you must rest" mother said pushing me back down.
"No I need to find her" I said grabbing my mothers hand.
"You love this girl" mother asked me, her eyes were sincere and joyful.
"I-I don't know" I replied with a frown. I think I do but I can't just say that without knowing how she felt.
"Eska, let's leave your brother to his own devices, Desna you are not to leave the palace" mother said ushering Eska out of my room.
"Figure out your feelings my boy" mother said before shutting the door.
I sighed feeling utterly useless, (y/n) could be hurt or even worse dead and I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs! I got up storming out of my room, if it was the last thing I did I would find (y/n).
What if Amka touched her!
I felt a shiver went down my spine at that thought, the disgust then turned into rage. That dumb son of a bitch better not have touched her!
I must really love this girl. I pulled at my hair in frustration, why is life so unsure. My eyes watered.
She better be ok....
I wondered around the hallways of the palace, I remembered all the little pranks and jokes (y/n) had made as I walked. I found myself entering the library.
I was never really entertained by books but it was all I really could do now.
Sit and observe.
Time skip
"Desna wake up" Eska said shaking my shoulder.
"hm yes" I replied with a yawn, I had fallen asleep in the library.
"Come, mothers asleep, we're gonna try and find your girlfriend" Eska said pulling me to my feet.
"Thank you Eska" I said hugging her. She hugged back momentarily.
"The girl has made you more touchy brother, good job" Eska said with a wink, my face went red.
"Nothing like that has happened" I muttered to Eska as we left.
Another time skip
Eska and I came inside tiredly. We were hungry, cold, wet, tired and (y/n)-less, we sat down at the dinner table, mother glared at us.
"Eska, Desna, what did I say to you two" she said strictly.
"I know mother but I've made my mind up, I really love this girl she means the world to me" I blabbered out standing up.
"Good, that's all I needed to know" she said, nodding in acceptance.
We ate our dinner in silence, the room felt empty without her......
I walked back to my bedroom quickly, I looked out my window, the full moon was out, if (y/n) was fighting now she would be winning. That was the only comforting thought I could muster as I fell asleep.
