"James! Jack! Sumunod na kayo!"

I walked so fast and went straight to the room. Nakasalubong ko pa si Treion at Grey na litong nakatingin sa akin pero hindi ko na lang pinansin. Nawalan na ako ng gana na mag-lunch. I ducked on my arm chair and calmed myself. They're really testing my patiece.

I didn't know for how long I was like that but I just looked up when the room got filled with noises. Later on, our teacher went in. After his discussion, he dismissed us. He also announced that Mr. Roxas, our teacher for the last subject, wouldn't make it today so we could go home now. Right after he went out of the room, I went out, too.

"Presly!" I heard them called but I didn't look back.

I sighed heavily when my phone is vibrating continuously. I got it from my pocket and saw Kuya Presven calling me.

I cleared my throat before answering him. "Hello."

[Bunso, can you buy me something? I just really need this later.] He said.

I sighed and lumabas na ng campus. "Yeah, sure."

[Oh, thanks. Just buy me a stamp pad and its ink. Then, one box of marker. That's all.]

"Okay. Maya na lang ulit sa bahay," I just said and ended the call.

"Presly!" I heard Jack's voice.

I didn't look at him and pumara na ng taxi. Pagka-sakay ko ay nagpa-hatid na ako sa mall. I was aware that Jack is following me the whole time.

"Here's your change, Ma'am," the cashier sadi and ihanded it to me.

I nodded. "Thank you," I said and walked towards outside of the store.

"Presly, please," Jack said and hold my arm.

Hinila ko kaagad iyon. "Umuwi ka na," I said and continued walking.

I'm so thankful that I'm not getting a headache or what because I didn't have my lunch. Nang makarating sa labas ay kaagad akong pumara ng taxi.

"Presly!"
"Bub!"

I sighed and bit my lip. Nakapasok na ako ng village. Naglalakad palapit sa akin si James at si Jack naman ay nakasunod pa rin sa akin.

"Bub, saan ka galing?" James asked and hold me on my waist.

I stared at him and gulped before leaning towards him. I kissed him. I kissed his lips. But, I pulled away after a few seconds when I felt nothing.

"Sorry," I whispered and hugged him.

"You kissed me... Presly," he whispered slowly.

I bit my lip. "I'm sorry..."

"Bub... can't you give a chance?" He asked softly.

Pumikit ako ng mariin at umiling. "No, I'm sorry," I said and glanced at my back. I saw Jack staring at us blankly. I sighed and walked away from them.

I kissed my best friend. But, I don't feel anything. I don't feel the warmth. I don't feel the butterflies in my stomach. I don't feel anything but only love as best friends. I don't feel the things I feel when I'm with Jack.

I don't know what urged me to do that. Maybe, I just wanted to know if I could feel the same towards him. I know it was a fucked up move because I just ended up hurting my best friend.

Starting that day, we don't talk to each other. We became distant and I understand that. I know that because of what I did, I hurt him. And, I'm respecting his space. We both needed space. On the other hand, Jack is still trying to talk to me but I just can't. My mind is still messy. I feel like I'm holding so much problems.
