"Go back here after a month. We have to adjust your braces."

I nodded at the dentist and thanked her before leaving. Hindi naman sobrang sakit. I can tolerate the pain. I just needed this because my teeth specifically the canines were going forward.

Nag-selfie ako na ang kita lang ay ibabang ngipin at sinend na sa GC namin na kaming pito lang naman. Si Cray and Grey, ako, si Clark, Trina, Zack, and Treion. Yung iba kasi nag-leave na noon pa. Si Grey ay napabalik lang nitong year. Porket kasali mga ex nila rito, ha.

"Kamay ba ang may braces sa 'yo at hindi mo kayang mag-luto?" Clark asked sarcastically.

I laughed. Pinapunta ko siya rito kasi ang dahilan ko ay hindi ako makapag-luto. Pero, nag-take out na lang siya at dinala rito. I just don't want to be alone. Mag-iisip na naman ako at ayoko niyon.

"Have you heard that Jack is already here?" I asked and sat on the dining chair. As always, nakapatong ang kaliwang siko ko sa lamesa.

"Oo. Naki-chika na ako sa company, mukhang wala kang balak sabihin sa 'min, eh," he said and scoffed. Nag-aayos siya ng pagkain namin sa table.

I rolled my eyes. "Is he my responsibility?"

He glared at me. "He's your friend," he said and even emphasized the word 'friend'.

That made me scoffed. "Since when did we become friends?"

He sighed. "Bakit ba ang bibitter niyo? Mabuti pa ang baklang Cray, eh. Kahit walang paliwanag, tanggap kaagad."

I pursed my lips. "Cray has the softest heart. She's the kindest of all living creatures," I said and chuckled.

"Agreed," he said and nodded. "Tingnan mo naman ngayon, mahigit dalawang buwan na lang, ikakasal na."

I pursed my lips. "Simulan mo ng maging mabait, baka may papatol pa sa 'yo," I teased and chuckled.

His lips rose. "Duda ako riyan. Ikaw nga, pagkatapang-tapang, pinatulan."

Sumeryoso ako kaya tumawa siya. "Did I gave you the permission to laugh?" I asked dryly but he just laughed more.

Kumain na lang ako at hindi na siya pinansin. I just ate slowly caused sometimes, my teeth hurt due to braces. The rest of the day ay tumulog lang kami. Nang magising naman ako ay binuhay ko ang TV pero hindi naman ako nanood. Nag-luto kasi ako. Then, bago pa lumalim ang gabi ay umuwi na si Clark.

"Sir, the Ramirez called. They want to meet with you and said that it's urgent. But unfortunately, you have a scheduled meeting with the New Zen Inc. on the time they wanted to meet with you," I told Papa.

He sighed. "Can't we just re-schedule the meeting with New Zen?" He asked with brows furrowed.

I pursed my lips. "I'm sorry, Sir. I already called the New Zen and they told me that if we re-schedule the meeting with them, it will not be this week. If that happens, it will surely affect our target date for the groundbreaking," I explained.

He massaged his head. "Do I haven't any spare time? Just put there the Ramirez."

I sighed and looked at his schedule written on the tablet before I look at him again. "I'm afraid you're already tired and no longer be able to understand what you, guys, will discuss if I put them on 8 pm onwards," I said and looked at him... boredly.

He raised a brow at me. "Are you saying that your father is already old and his mind isn't capable enough to understand business at night?" He asked.

I almost rolled my eyes. "No, sir. I'm just saying that it's not good for you. If we set a meeting on that time, you're probably tired from your whole day agenda. But, it's still your decision, Sir."
