"Should I start doing my makeup?"

"I seriously can't believe you literally brought makeup with you, you have limited room in your purse and you chose that." Deana laughs, shaking her head at Caro.

"Don't judge me!" Caro exclaims, opening her purse and rummaging through it. "Not all of us were awake early enough to get their makeup done."

Teagan and Deana both then start talking to Willa, while Caro starts to pull her makeup supplies out of her bag.

When Caro turns to ask her friends for help, she doesn't want to interrupt their conversation. She looks up, and Calum is just scrolling through his phone, so she decided to ask him to do what she was going to ask her friends.

"Hey, Calum? Teags was gonna hold my phone up for me as my mirror but she's busy. Can I borrow you for a few minutes?" Caro asks, holding her phone out to Calum with the camera open.

Calum chuckles, "Of course. Yeah."

He takes her phone, holding it so that the screen is in front of Caro's face.

"I won't be long, I promise."

As she opens her concealer, and starts to apply it, Calum watches her intently.

"What?" Caro asks, noticing Calum's staring but not looking away from herself in the camera.

"I like watching people do makeup. It's like, soothing but also super cool what you can do with it."

"Don't get excited, I'm not going super wild or anything. I can't really do a whole look while in the queue."

"I'm sure you could've, but I know you would've needed to bring a lot of stuff to do that." He tells her, watching her blend out her concealer.

"Exactly. It's fine, I'll give up my usual makeup for something a little more simple so that I can queue." She giggles, making sure everything's blended as she closes and puts away her concealer.

"Makeup seems so fun." Calum says, watching as she quickly powders her face.

"Yeah, when you have proper tools it is." She mutters, mad that she doesn't have brushes and has to use the awful sponge that came with her powder.

"But like, the colours and stuff! And how you can make yourself look different, but still like yourself! The glitter is so cool!" Calum smiles, watching as Caro piles on the blush with, once again, an awful tiny brush that came with the product.

"Calum, would you like some of my glitter?" Caro offers, a smile forming on her lips.

"Oh, no, it's okay." He tells her, as she pulls it out.

"It's nothing that crazy, not actual chunks of glitter, super shimmery though." She tells him, swiping it across her eyelids. It seemed messier than usual, but she didn't care that much.

"It looks good!" He smiles.

Caro decides to take a chance, quickly reaching out and swiping the sparkly shade partially across one of his eyelids.

"Caro!" He laughs, flipping her phone towards his face.

"It looks pretty!" She smiles, watching him to see his reaction.

"Okay, you're right." He gives in, smiling as he looks at himself in the camera.

"Now, would you like me to even it out on the other eye, or what? Because I gotta get a move on with my eyeliner, that's going to take me so long." Caro questions, watching Calum move his head so he can see the sun reflect off the shimmery eyeshadow.

"Yeah, sure." He grins, looking over at her, not at himself on her phone screen.

Caro cheers, clapping her hands before telling Calum to close his eyes so that she can do his eyeshadow.

After swiping the shimmer across his eyelids, Calum inspects himself in the front camera once again, smiling even wider this time.

"This is so much fun!"

Caro giggles, "It's just some glittery eyeshadow, Calum. But I'm glad you're having fun with it."

"I am! I know it's nothing crazy but, it's new to me."

"I tried to put makeup on my ex once and he cried. It's so nice to see a man actually love this stuff." Caro smiles, looking up at Calum and the eyeshadow on his lids.

"This stuff doesn't make me uncomfortable or anything. Knowing I have friends who wouldn't even think twice about it is what makes me feel so comfortable doing it. I mean, I know it's only some glitter, but it's not something I ever do."

"No, and that's great! My ex cried because he thought he wasn't manly anymore. Which should've been a red flag and an immediate end to things. There's a difference between just not wanting to, and thinking you're less of a man or something for it." Caro expands, wanting to get her point across and show Calum that she really loved that he wasn't having a fit.

Calum just smiles at her, and she couldn't read him. She had no idea what he was thinking as he looked at her. But he seemed so fascinated by her.

"What?"

"Nothing." He responds, holding the phone back up in front of Caro, so that she can continue her makeup.

She takes a deep breath, preparing to do her eyeliner.
