"Oh my god!" Caro smiles, shouting over the cheers of the rest of the audience as the opening act takes their final bow.
She looks over at Deana and Teagan, both of them cheering along with the crowd. Then looking up at Calum, he's watching her as she claps. Her head tilts in confusion as she looks at him.
"What?" Caro asks as she smiles up at Calum, trying to raise her voice over the crowd.
"Nothing. I just really like seeing you enjoy yourself." Calum chuckles, smiling.
"I can't wait for the band to come on. I'm going to cry. Don't judge me. I'm begging." Caro replies, also letting out a soft laugh.
"I've already told you I wouldn't judge you." Calum tells her. He couldn't be more clear about that, it was unfortunate she felt like she had to still defend herself. He knew part of it was just habit though, so he tried to not be offended Caro thought he'd judge her.
"You're going to change your mind when you see us. We're going to go wild. You'll regret ever meeting us." Caro laughs. Personally she didn't think they were that bad, but she always felt the need to warn people. After all the comments made towards her over the years, it just made her feel a bit better to say things like that.
"Will you stop? How many times do I have to tell you to stop this? Caro, I love that you're passionate about this. I've said this already. I know we barely know each other, but however you react to whatever isn't going to change my mind about you."
For some reason it finally clicked in her head that Calum wasn't just lying to her to try and sleep with her. He actually meant these things he was saying. It's not like she thought he was a bad person or anything, he's made her feel comfortable all day long. She's just never been used to guys being so honest, or supportive.
"Okay." Caro replies, a smile spreading across her face. She didn't really know what else to say.
"Okay?"
"Yeah. Okay. I believe you." Caro repeats, trying to be clearer. Her smile stays on her face, as she steps closer to him so that she can lean up against him.
As she leans against his side, she looks over at Teagan and Deana, who are both smiling at her and Calum. She was glad she was facing her friends, because she didn't want Calum to see the stupid smile plastered on her lips right now.
"I'm glad I met you. I'm glad I get to experience this show with you." Calum whispers, ensuring only Caro can hear him.
"Same here." Caro tells him, quickly glancing up at him.
She felt butterflies when she looked up at him, simply because of the way he was looking at her. She couldn't believe that he was real, she couldn't believe the look on his face was because of her.
All Calum could think about was how bad he wanted to kiss her. Though he tried to push the thoughts away immediately, he didn't want to seem creepy. Those feelings would just make him act weird, so he did his best to suppress them.
