Caro scrolls through Instagram, getting bored quickly. She finds herself back on Calum's account, smiling as she starts to browse through his profile.
"What are you doing?" Calum asks, looking over her shoulder.
"Just some stalking. Finally following Luke and Michael. Also was going to find a picture of you and your sister." Caro tells him honestly, even though she's embarrassed.
"If you wanted to see a picture of her, you could've just asked." He tells Caro, before showing her his lock screen. It's a picture of him with his sister, the two of them laughing at something. Caro could see the genuine happiness in both their faces. "I usually don't have my sister on my lock screen, since some people would think that's weird, but it was her birthday recently and I love this picture we took at her party."
"You don't owe anybody an explanation for what picture you put as you lock screen, but anyway. She's so cute! Look at you guys." Caro exclaims, seeing the resemblance between the two siblings.
Calum laughs, putting his phone away, "I guess I don't need to explain anything. Sorry."
"Why are you apologizing?"
"I don't know, I feel annoying!" He tells her, quietly groaning.
"I was just letting you know that you don't have to try and like, defend yourself or anything. The picture makes you happy and that's all. Personally, I enjoy hearing you talk about things that make you happy."
Ever since Calum opened up to her about needing reassurance, she felt more comfortable being honest with him. She wanted to give him that reassurance.
Calum smiles at her, not having anything to say at the moment. He just really enjoyed being around Caro.
Before Caro is able to speak, she's interrupted by Teagan.
"Caro... I feel like I should let you know. They added your song onto the setlist the other night, the night before as well. They'll probably play it tonight."
"Are you joking?" Caro asks, thinking Teagan might just be playing a shitty joke on her.
"No, I'm not. Will you be okay?" Teagan asks, completely serious.
"Oh, wow. Tonight will be interesting."
Calum looks up from his phone, overhearing some of their conversation. "Why?"
"Oh, Calum. Hi." Caro says, a nervous smile on her lips.
"Are you okay?"
She nods, "I think so."
"You think so?" He asks, moving closer to her. He wanted to comfort her, but he didn't want to touch her incase it made her uncomfortable. It hasn't at any other point today, but she seems so off right now.
"There's stuff I didn't tell you when I spilled a bunch of stuff about me."
"Oh?"
"You thought I overshared before? That was nothing." She forces a small laugh, sounding more uncomfortable than anything else.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Calum gives her a weak smile, knowing something is wrong. But he was so open to listening to her if she wanted to talk to him.
Calum looks at her, as if he was waiting for her to say something.
"Wanna go for a walk and do some talking?"
Calum nods and quickly stands up, holding his hand out to the girl. She takes it, and he helps pull her up.
Though he knew she obviously was going to talk about something personal, he was so open to hearing whatever she had to say.
"Wait, Caro, are you sure you want to do this?" Teagan quickly stands up, gently placing her hand on her friends arm.
Caro weakly smiles, "Yeah. I've been talking about it more lately, it helps. I think talking about it with my new band obsessed friend will be fine."
"Okay, as long as you're sure." Teagan tells her with a small smile.
Caro nods, "I'm sure."
