"Have you seen the bands posts today?" Deana asks, showing the girls an Instagram story posted by the lead singer.
"I'm so fucking excited for tonight, I could scream." Teagan cheers.
"Please don't." Deana laughs.
Teagan moves closer to Caro, staring at her face.
"What?" Caro asks, leaning back so that Teagan isn't so close to her.
"That shadow is so cute. I love it."
"Tell Calum that."
"Did he say something mean? I'll fucking fight him. I don't care that he's a foot taller than me I'll-"
"Teags! He's wearing it as well." Caro interrupts, laughing at her friends reaction. Through she appreciated the fact her friend would immediately fight a man for her, no questions asked.
"Oh! Cute!" She cheers. "Calum?"
Calum's head quickly snaps up from his phone, looking over at the three girls.
"Your eyeshadow is cute!" Teagan smiles, giving him a thumbs up.
"Oh, thanks." He smiles back, his face lighting up at the compliment.
Calum goes back to the phone in his hand, while the girls go back to their conversation.
"He's kinda perfect..." Deana says, keeping her eyes locked on Calum.
"I'm telling Jasmine!" Teagan replies, pulling out her phone as if she's about to call Deana's girlfriend.
"Leave her out of this." Deana replies, still peering over at Calum.
"Stop starting at him!" Caro whispers. "It's creepy!"
"Yeah! He's Caro's anyway." Teagan adds, making Caro quickly look at her and furrow her brows as she stares at her in confusion.
"True." Deana agrees, looking down at her phone.
"What?" Caro exclaims, glancing between her two friends, still confused.
"What? You two have been flirting all morning." Teagan shrugs, pointing out what seemed obvious.
"No we aren't?" Caro quietly exclaims, her tone making it sound more like a question.
The two girls laugh at their friend, not believing her.
"What?" Caro groans, rolling her eyes at her best friends.
"You seriously think you're not flirting with him? We are not sitting that far apart. We can see you. Sometimes hear you."
"I'm not!" Caro insists, not sure what else to say.
"We're not judging you!" Teagan assures her. "Go for it."
Caro turns around to make sure Calum's not listening, he's too busy talking to his friends to pay attention to the girls. "Why are you two being like this?"
"We're just pointing it out." Deana states. "You're the one doing it. Again, it's fine. You've literally flirted with men for fun how many times? Just have fun."
Caro hadn't even thought about flirting with Calum, but she definitely was. I mean, she's basically taken up flirting with men for fun as a hobby, it's not surprising that she's flirting with him. However, none of her little games with other guys made her feel this way. Shaking her head as if that would rid her of these thoughts, she looks back up at her friends.
"Anyway, Summer said she had a new band to show me, gonna go sit with her and judge the band." Teagan says, getting up and going to sit with the group in front of them.
"I'm going to FaceTime Jasmine since she's asked me to, you good to go back to Calum?" Deana smirks, actually wanting Calum and Caro to keep up whatever is going on.
Caro sighs, moving back to her spot she's been in most of the day, closer to Calum.
Calum is still talking with the guys, so she heads to Twitter to keep herself occupied for now.
"Caro!" Michael calls.
"Yeah?" Caro asks, leaning forward to actually be able to see him.
"Come sit with us for a second." He says, waving her over.
Caro gives him a questioning look before getting up to sit closer to the group of guys.
"Yes?" She asks, once she's sat with the group.
"We just wanted you to come hang with us for a bit."
"Also, why did you only follow Calum and Ashton on Instagram? Do you hate me? I thought we were best friends." Luke says, making Ashton and Michael roll their eyes.
"Don't worry, Luke. I can follow you too." Caro tells him, giggling at how offended he seems.
"Anyway, Calum's been hogging all your time, but we all wanted to get to know you guys. Clearly your friends are busy right now."
"It's okay, I'm the most interesting one anyway." Caro jokes, before smiling up at all of them, but lingering when she looks to Calum.
Calum's smiling as he chuckles at her joke, but somehow he manages to smile wider when Caro looks specifically at him.
