dakota eyed the giant ship in the air, listening as her father ordered f.r.i.d.a.y. to evacuate everyone, notifying first responders. dakota met tony, wong, and strange in the street, watching as two hideous creatures came off of the ship.

"hear me," one of them said, "and rejoice. you are about to die at the hands of the children of thanos. be thankful, that your meaningless lives are now contributing to.."

tony stood his ground. "i'm sorry, earth is closed today. you better pack it up and get outta here."

ebony maw turned to strange. "does this chattering animal speak for you?"

"certainly not." strange replied. "i speak for myself."

dakota looked up. "and i speak for the trees." she said, watching tony and strange both sent her incredulous looks.

strange created magical shields with his fists, taking a step forward. "but you're trespassing in this city and on this planet."

"it means get lost, squidward!" tony piped, earning a chuckle from dakota.

"bring me the stone." maw replied. dakota watched as cull obsidian dropped his large alien hammer, dragging it along the ground.

"banner, you want a piece?" tony asked.

"no, not really, but when do i ever get what i want?" bruce began to attempt to go green, but the only bits of hulk that showed up were on his neck. tony turned to look at bruce, who was struggling with getting the hulk out.

"where's your guy?" tony asked.

"i don't know." bruce replied. "we've sort of been having a thing."

dakota turned to look at bruce from the other side of tony. "there's no time for a thing, that's the thing right there." she pointed to obsidian, who was approaching them. bruce nodded, letting out a loud grunt and failing, again, to bring the hulk out.

"dude," tony said, looking over at strange, "you're embarrassing me in front of the wizards." bruce started struggling with excuses, but tony stopped him by holding out an arm. "it's okay, hey, stand down."

kodie turned to wong. "can you keep an eye on him please?" wong nodded, holding his shields up still. "thank you." she smiled.

tony and dakota pressed their chests, watching as obsidian continued to approach. both of their nanotech suits formed in a span of three steps, both of them holding up a shield with one arm and growing their blasters to throw obsidian into maw.

dakota didn't always advance her suit drastically, but when she did, she decided to go all out. this being one of those times, dakota's new suit had a light-saber effect. being a star wars fan, she had designed small blue light-saber-like blades that ejected from her suit's legs and arms, the intent being to stab an enemy. just because she wanted to show off, kodie had three of them sprout on each leg, smirking as obsidian seemed mildly threatened.

"where'd that come from?" bruce asked from behind them, impressed.

"it's nano-tech." tony replied, turning around. "you like it? a little someth-" as tony spoke, getting cut off as maw created a spike of earth that threw both starks up and sent them flying.

dakota stopped herself from hitting the ground by holding a blaster out with her arm. "we need to get that stone out of here, now." she said, flying back into the scene.

"it stays with me." strange argued.

"exactly." tony replied. "bye." both starks flew through maw's obstacle course, tony getting cut short by obsidian's hammer, sending both of them through a building and into the nearby park, both plowing into the ground.

bruce rushed over to the two, who had fallen onto a tree trunk. "you okay?" he asked. "how we doing? good? bad?"

dakota groaned, moving to get up. "really, really good." she mumbled sarcastically. "do you plan on helping out?" she asked somewhat sassily, helping her father up.

"i'm trying." bruce insisted. "he won't come out."

obsidian arrived at the park, throwing his hammer at the trio. tony and dakota dodged it, an energy beam from tony slicing down a tree and deflecting his shield.

kodie was knocked down by obsidian, who held up his hand to deliver a strong blow to her helmet. his hammer was suddenly caught by a kid in spandex. "hey, man." peter parker spoke, turning to see tony who had flown up to them. "what's up, mr. stark?"

"where'd you come from?" dakota asked, smiling at her boyfriend.

"field trip," peter told her, "to moma-!" obsidian grabbed peter, throwing him away. "what's this guy's problem, mr. stark?" peter asked him, swinging back towards the scene.

dakota helped her father hit a blow at obsidian. "he's from space." she told peter. "he came here to steal a magic necklace from a wizard. this all totally makes sense." dakota round-house kicked obsidian in the leg, distracting him from hitting tony.

"kodie, you good?" peter asked as she got flung away.

"i know the world is ending," she said as he helped her to her feet, "but, trust me, i can handle it."

peter's brows furrowed. "how can you possibly just handle it?"

"this isn't my first rodeo with the coming apocalypse." dakota said, gesturing towards obsidian. "it's all routine at this point."

strange passed through the park, tied up by his cloak, and tony and dakota eyed him as they continued fighting off obsidian. "kid," tony said, looking up to peter, "that's the wizard. get on it."

"on it!" peter replied, chasing maw, who was floating on a small platform of debris and chasing strange. peter was instantly knocked down by a billboard, left to untangle himself. "not cool!" peter attempted to grab strange, but a cone of blue light pulled them both upwards. peter grabbed onto a light pole, but maw lifted it, sending strange, his cloak, and peter to the ship above. "uhhh, mr. stark?" peter called. "i'm being beamed up!"

obsidian's hammer turned into a claw, pinning tony and dakota to the ground. obsidian approached the two, jumping towards them with a blade. instead of chopping into both starks with a blade, he was sent through a portal created by wong. obsidian turned to jump out of the portal but wong closed it quickly-- obsidian's severed hand plopping onto the ground. bruce kicked it away from him in disgust.

"wong, you're invited to my wedding."

"gimme some more juice, f.r.i.d.a.y.." dakota asked the ai, her foot thrusters morphing together and into one large jet, increasing her speed. "pete, you gotta let go. we can catch you." dakota said, her father flying next to her.

"but you said save the wizard!" peter protested, gasping from lack of oxygen. "i can't breathe!" he announced, pulling off his mask.

dakota continued flying after him. "your suit wasn't designed for space, you're too high up. you're running out of air."

"yeah," peter said, "that makes sense." the boy passed out, free-falling down onto the lower part of the circular ship. a pod sent by tony reached peter, attaching onto him and forming the iron spider suit. now able to breathe, peter landed on the bottom of the ship, standing heroically. "mr. stark, it smells like a new car in here!"

dakota chuckled before tony decided to ruin the fun. "happy trails, kid. f.r.i.d.a.y., send him home." a large parachute extended from the new suit, snatching peter from the ships hull and sending him spiraling down to earth.

"OH COME ON!" peter yelled, voice cut off from the wind.
