Safe place (Markhyuck)

When everyone gets to Haechan's for the picnic he is more ready than ever. He hasn't had an outing with so many people in so long and he can't wait. He excitedly hugs Jeno, Jaemin, and Renjun as they walk through the door. After getting everything they need, they head out. Haechan has Mark on one side holding his hand and Jeno wanted to walk on the other side so he felt protected and it worked, the other two walked ahead holding hands as well.

"It's nice to see you all happy again." Mark quietly comments to Jeno making him smile.
"Things are good, that's for sure." Haechan smiles and nudges Jeno's arm.
"I'm so happy you guys have Renjun now, I love him and want to keep him, as my friend of course." He says after Jeno frowns at him. Mark just laughs making the other two smile.
"I never once felt like I was missing something when it was just Jaemin and I, but I have this feeling of completion with Renjun there." Haechan smiles and wraps his arm around Jeno.

"You got yourself two keepers there, I love them both." Jeno beams at his comment as they continue walking.
"How are you feeling Haechanie?" Mark asks as they close in on the park, he notices it's pretty busy today with a kids soccer game going and a lot of people out walking their dogs along the paths. Haechan nods and smiles as he tells himself it's ok.
"I'm ok, but maybe we should sit over there." He says pointing to a spot under a tree away from most of the crowds. Jeno shouts to the other two that are pretty far ahead and points where to go so they set up the blankets while the others catch up.

After sitting Haechan scoots up behind Renjun and hugs him.
"I'm so glad you thought of this." He says cutely making Renjun giggle.
Jaemin scoots over by Jeno and Mark whispering,
"When did they get so close?" Mark clears his throat and tells the truth even though he knows it's painful for them.

"When he was in China, he called me to talk once and Haechan was there and they just clicked and he would call him sometimes twice a day to cry and Haechan would just listen and helped him get through the day." He looks up to see Jeno and Jaemin with tears in their eyes and shame on their faces.
"He was hurt, he needed comfort and Haechan was able to be there for him. Don't be upset now though, I mean it's fixed isn't it?" Jaemin nods as he wipes at the tears falling down. By this time the other two have noticed and Renjun looks away sadly. He too feels guilty for his part in it. Haechan rubs his back and gestures for him to go see his boyfriends so he does. He crawls over and sits facing them and puts a hand on their cheeks.

"I still feel sorry, for leaving with no communication but I needed to be away from you for a while." Jaemin shakes his head and looks at the sky.
"Renjun, you never should have been made to feel the way you did, we should have been better but we let you down. I still feel bad." Jeno nods, letting him know that he does too.

"Let's look at the bright side shall we?" Mark's asks.
"You all three felt horrible for a while but now you have a beautiful relationship and a better understanding of each other and Renjun and Haechan got a really good friendship out of it." Renjun kisses them both on the lips.
"Mark is right, if we keep feeling bad about this it can't be good for us so we should really think of all the positives. The first one being that I am so in love with the two of you that sometimes it's hard to breath. I forgive you completely and I hope you can forgive me as well?" Jaemin looks at Jeno smiling wide.
"Have I ever told you how happy I am that you kissed him that night?" Jeno laughs and pulls both of them toward him so their heads are touching.
"Once or twice." They all chuckle and share a few kisses.

"Do you now see what I go through?" Mark asks Haechan, who crawls on his lap facing him.
"It's ok, payback is a bitch you know." He says before he practically eats Mark's face off effectively getting their attention.
"Ok I think we've given the people a good enough show now, let's eat." Renjun says happily.
They spend almost two full hours there, Haechan was enjoying being out so much they didn't want to leave.
There was an incident with a dog getting away from its owner that scared him a little but the dog was cute enough to over shadow the fear. And even when a soccer ball came flying their way it only produced a little jump scare, so all in all it was an amazing time. They got to talk as friends and get to know each other that much more. Haechan is excited to meet some of Renjun and Mark's coworkers too. They are planning to have meet ups at the cafe so when he goes to his dad's office he will have a few more familiar faces to see.

They all walk to his house when they are done and Mark of course stays while the others go back home.
"You did so good baby." Mark says nuzzling into Haechan's neck making him giggle.
"Thank you, today was amazing and I don't know what I would do without you? You are truly the best thing that has ever happened to me." Mark smiles softly and tries to hold back the emotions that want to come out.
"I love you Haechan and I hope you know that I would literally die for you." Haechan gulps and softly kisses his lips.

"Please don't." He whispers.
"I mean I'm glad you feel that way but what ever you do don't die. I want you with me for a long time. When I think about my future, you are always in it." He whispers.
They stand in each other's arms for a while just sharing kisses and not wanting to let go. When Haechan feels that it's getting too heated he stops Mark only to pull him along so they can shower. Haechan feels gross after sweating in the sun all day but doesn't want to end whatever they have started.

Neither can take their eyes off the other as they undress. Mark is quick to follow Haechan into the shower and hold him against the wall as he sucks marks along his neck and shoulder. Haechan moans as Mark pulls him forward by his hips and their arousals touch.
They spend a good amount of time playing until they both feel satisfied and of course the hot water runs out and the water is ice cold. They quickly wash to get out but it's hard when you are spending more time laughing than anything else.

They crawl into bed around 7:30 to watch movies and cuddle, their favorite past time.
With a few whispered I love you's Haechan falls asleep first. The emotions and gravity of what happened today wear him out but it gives Mark a chance to now stare at the beauty that is Haechan.
