"Happy birthday love." Jeno whispers in Renjun's ear. He smiles softly in his half asleep state.
"Thank you." He willingly accepts a kiss and reaches for him and Jaemin.
"Where's Jaem?" He asks with a pout.
"He'll be right back baby." Renjun hums and holds onto Jeno tightly until he hears Jaemin singing loudly as he opens the door. His face shows his surprise and Jeno giggles at his cuteness and joins in. He watches as Jaemin carries a big tray of food in and sets it on the bed before he crawls over and kisses him softly.
"Happy birthday baby." He smiles big and kisses both of them once more.
"Thank you guys, this is so nice."
They take turns feeding him and spoiling him. They watch a movie and even bathe him after a nice mid morning, love making. He didn't think his day
Could get any more perfect.
At noon they all dressed nice to go out to lunch for steak which he of course thought would be the end of his spoiling.

Mark and Haechan have been having so much fun getting to know their guests. They both love them dearly in such a short time but now it's time to head over to the throuple's house to put up a few small decorations. They have the job of picking up the cake that the other two ordered as well. The other guests will be coming shortly too, which consists of Renjun's coworkers mainly. Not too many but enough to make him feel loved.
"Hendery and I can hang the streamers since we are both tall." Haechan says smiling.
"We're like the same height." Mark says faking like he is unamused.

He knows Haechan just really took a liking to the Chinese and it's fine with him. The other two start hanging the balloons they bought on the way and a birthday sign that Jaemin had made just for Renjun. This is his first birthday with them and they want to spoil him any way possible.
"Kun loves Renjun's boyfriends so much. He knows they had a rough patch but he knows that his little brother has never been happier than he is now." Hendery says softly as he watches his man introduce himself to a few of the guests that have arrived.

"I've known them two for a long time, they have helped me with so much over the years but I was so angry with them that I wanted to slap them both." He chuckles.
"At the time I couldn't leave my house so, I never got the chance but I really got to know Renjun over that time. We talked a lot over the phone, it was therapeutic for both of us, we became great friends. He's a great person, we all just love him to pieces and we will all take care of him so you two don't have to worry." Haechan speaks softly to Hendery and watches his smile grow with what he says.

"Kun would be happy to hear that but I think he already knows. Ever since little Renjun moved here he was always worrying, but after getting to know all of you I think he sees that he is in good hands." They finish up the last of the streamers and quickly make sure things are perfect. Mark just got a text from Jeno that they are on the way.
The plan is for everyone to yell surprise per the usual surprise party but Kun and Hendery are going to be in the extra bedroom, which is the one that Jaemin had secretly gotten ready for them. The lights are off and the anticipation is maddening. Haechan is clutching tightly to Mark. He's not usually scared of the dark but for some reason he's on edge.
"Baby? Are you ok? We can go into the bedroom with the lights on if you want to?" Mark asks as he holds him in his arms.
"No, I can do this. They should be here soon and I want to be here for Renjun." Mark kisses his lips softly.
"Please don't over do it baby. If it's too much, tell me." Haechan nods and continues to take deep breaths until they hear the locks click.

When Renjun walks into his dark apartment followed by his boyfriends he quickly finds the lamp and switches it on, and the fright in his little heart that he feels when everyone screams surprise is enough to make him freeze. He looks around the room and tears up instantly.
"You guys." He says turning around and melting into Jaemin and Jeno's arms.
"You've done so much for me, I don't deserve this." Jaemin kisses his lips.
"You deserve the world baby." He says softly. Renjun turns again to see his friends. He walks up and greets Haechan first who looks a little pale.
"Are you ok?" He asks softly in his ear. Haechan nods with a soft smile.
"I'm better now that the lights are on." Renjun makes a pouty face and pats his cheek before thanking him then Mark for coming.

He makes his rounds hugging everyone and thanking them for coming. All of their friends from work are there and he is just so happy to have the two most thoughtful boyfriends.
"Renjun baby, go in the spare room and get your present please? We want to see if you like it." Jaemin says. Renjun pouts while wiping more tears.
As he gets to the door he turns around again.
"You guys are too much, you've done so much for me. You didn't have to get me a gift too." They both walk up with a smile and kiss his cheek. They stand beside him and urge him to open it.
"Wait. Let me FaceTime Kun. I want him to see what you've done, and he can see my gift too." He whips out his phone and thankfully Kun was listening and quickly shut off his ringer.
"Hi Kun, I want to show you what my boyfriends did for me today." He quickly spins his phone around and shows off the decorations.
"Why do you have all the lights off?" He asks and Kun just shrugs without saying anything.
"I'm going to get my gift now and I wanted you to be with me when I did." Literally everyone in the room could hear the sadness in his voice. Jeno takes the phone from his hands and him and Jaemin both take a hand and go to the door.
"Close your eyes." Jeno says in his ear.
Jaemin is quick to open it while Renjun just waits anxiously.
"Open your eyes baby." They say together. Nothing could prepare them for the outpouring of emotions from just one tiny person. His eyes started leaking instantly, his hands were shaking but no words would come. Kun quickly opens his arms and Renjun falls into them immediately.

"I can't believe it's you. It's really you." He says holding on as tightly as possible. There is not a dry eye in the place as they stand there embracing.
"Hendery, come here and hug me too." He says through his tears.
After a long time of hugging and catching up Renjun hugs Jeno tightly then Jaemin before he thanks them again and again for such an amazing gift.
They enjoy a small party with everyone and then make plans for the whole time that they will be in town. Renjun hugs Haechan tightly after hearing that he let them stay at his place for a few days.
"Thank you. I love you so much Haechanie." Renjun says cutely as he bounces in his arms.
"I love you too, don't tell our boyfriends though." He says with a chuckle, teasing Renjun for his joke about the same thing. The smaller one giggles as he lets go.

At the end of the day, back home with everything quiet, Haechan lies in Marks arms. His head is on his chest, as he is calming himself down. Mark runs his hand up and down his back softly.
"I'm not sure why I got so nervous today. I'm glad I was there for him but I don't think I want to do anything like that again." Mark kisses the top of his head.
"You did so good baby. You are so strong, but never be afraid to retreat to a safe place." Haechan hums and props himself on his elbows, looking directly into Mark's eyes.
"You are my safe place." He says just above a whisper. Mark stares softly into his eyes before he pulls him up into a passion filled kiss.
"I can't even explain how much I love you." Mark whispers, keeping the quiet atmosphere going.
"I love you too Mark." Haechan says getting sleepy. They kiss a few more soft pecks on the lips before Haechan really can't keep his eyes open. Mark holds him just a little tighter this night.
