With Halloween just around the corner, the school decided to celebrate a little bit. Their two fake skeletons and hopefully fake spiderwebs really put the place in the holiday spirit. Not that this hellhole doesn't feel like a horror movie every day without the useless decor.

"Are you coming to my annual Halloween party, Haley?"

I roll my eyes at the idiot in front of me. Is this man so dense he doesn't understand what my dismissive attitude means? Maybe straight up saying 'don't talk to me' wasn't enough. I guess I need to try more up front means.

"No."

"Come on, we could make this," He points between the two of us, "an annual thing too," Chad smirks, clearly full of himself.

Firstly, who needs to declare that their own party is some sort of annual event everyone looks forward to? He must really be full of himself,
all high and mighty at the top of the high school pyramid. Sure, his Halloween party last year was the talk of the teenage population till Thanksgiving, but give me a break.

Second, the hell am I ever even touching that man again. I'm glad I don't have any memories of last year's Halloween. I wouldn't be able to function if I remembered what it was like to touch Chad's penis. More elegantly, thank god I don't remember what it's like getting in bed with Chad. I shiver just thinking about it.

Chad has tried (and failed) to get me to sleep with him again ever since that night. Constantly, he'll try to charm me, work his 'smooth moves' on me, flat out tell me to fuck him. I couldn't care less about any of his attempts, he doesn't seem to understand that though.

"No means no."

Chad gets closer to me, letting his thighs hit my legs. I outwardly show my disgust at his closeness. I'm at my last straw with this frat boy wannabe.

On a scale from 1-10, how much will it hurt if I kick him in the balls?

"Don't be so hard to get, babe."

He did not just call me babe. My anger boils over and I stand up. Emma has been silent throughout the exchange, being completely ignored by Chad. I see her smirk a little when I stand up. She knows me well, my best friend, she knows shit is about to hit the metaphorical fan.

"What do I gotta do to make you understand that you need to fuck off!" My voice gets louder with every word.

"Damn baby," Chad puts his hands up in surrender but his face is still filled with humor and confidence.

"Leave me the fuck alone."

"Come on, why are you resisting so much?" He brings his hands down, letting them drop down to my waist.

I can feel the hundreds of eyes that are glued to Chad and I. I usually wouldn't mind the attention, I just ignore it, but this time around I can tell everyone thinks I'm the one that's acting out of line. They're probably assuming I'm on my period or playing hard to get. They assume things because they don't know the whole story, and that just fuels my anger even more.

"Get your pervy hands off me," I push his hands that we're still on my waist down, stepping away from him.

Chad rolls his eyes when I do so, "Fuck you, Haley. I'm being a nice guy, giving you attention. Do you see any other men talking to you? No. Because you're a bitch," He finally raises his voice there at the end.

I just stand there, speechless at his deep-cutting words. I watch as he huffs and walks off with his posey of teammates following behind him. Emma finally decides to react as she walks up to me and pulls me off to the bathroom. She kicks some poor girl that was mid pee out before turning to look at me.
