I release our kiss after a couple of minutes, although it didn't feel long at all. I craved more of him. I flip over so I'm lying next to him. Our breaths are heavy as we lay there in silence. I feel Jayden's hand reach out to my own and grab hold of it, lightly squeezing it every once in a while.
"Do you find me attractive?" I suddenly ask.
I feel Jayden stop breathing for a second as he flips to his side and looks at me, his head propped up by his arm, "You are beautiful, attractive," He takes a breath, "Sexy."
I don't say anything, just stare deep into his eyes, trying to see how honest and sincere he's being. I know Jayden though, he'd never lied to me. His eyes are filled with admiration and honesty.
"You do?" I still feel the urge to confirm, feeling pathetic as I ask.
Jayden reaches his hand to my cheek and caresses it softly as he moves a piece out of the way. There's a soft smile on his lips but worry in his eyes.
"Haley, why are you so worried that I don't find you attractive?" He asks.
I shrug, feeling self conscious of my thoughts, "You just don't touch me, you're so still."
Jayden's cheeks turn bright red as he collapses back onto his back. I hear him take a couple of short breaths before speaking up, unable to look at me, "This is, um, well, it's the first time I've been with," He takes a second, "A girl. I'm nervous to do something wrong. I'm scared to hurt you and ruin us."
"I want you to touch me, Jam," I tell him as honestly as I can, "I want you to tug on my shirt and beg me to take it off. I want you to brush your fingers over my skin. I want you to squeeze my ass."
"You do?" He asks, almost unbelieving of my words.
"I wouldn't kiss you if I didn't want to do more with you."
At my statement, is head quickly snaps to me as his eyes go wide. He looks at me intently with surprise and shock written all over. His mouth opens and closes a couple of times, unsure of what to say or how to react.
I did basically tell him I want to fuck him.
"Will you be my girlfriend, Haley?" Jayden's words take me by surprise.
Those were the last words I expected to come out of his mouth. That was the last question I thought he would ask me. I wasn't expecting him to ask me to be my girlfriend. To be honest, I was about ready to ask him if he'd date me. So many emotions start flowing through me as I take in his words. Happiness, excitement, shock, a little nervousness. Jayden Monroe wants to date me.
I can tell Jayden is getting more nervous every second that goes by that I don't answer his question. I stare at him, processing all my emotions as fast as I can. I quickly take a breath and speak before he changes his mind about wanting to date me.
"You're finally asking the right questions," I smirk, "Yes."
The nerd dating the bad girl, who would've thought.
"I'm sorry I didn't ask in a more romantic way," He apologizes.
I shake my head, "What have I told you about apologizing, this is no reason to apologize."
"I just could've made it more romantic, you deserve something romantic," Jayden says in such a sweet tone.
"Well," I tell him, feeling bad that he feels like he should do more for me when I don't deserve it, "Why don't we go out on a date tomorrow? Make it official?"
Jayden nods his head, happy with the idea, "It'll have to be pretty late though. My dad is making me go golfing with this owner he wants to buy a store from."
