"How did you even know this was possibly temporary??" Midoriya asked in dismay.
He side eyed Hawks who was slowly backing up with a guilty face and sighed.

"Yesterday we caught images of you having ramen with the number 1 Hero.
Is it true you 2 have continued to be friends even after graduating UA?"

"Yeah, where did the assumption of our friendship breaking come from?" Midoriya asked accusingly.

"Uh uhm
Uh..."

Midoriya could sense another disaster about to happen. His wings twitched, "I have to go, something is about to happen"

He flew off, fast as ever.
Seconds after an alarm went off.

Hawks and Bakugo both jumped into action, trying to beat Midoriya but it was far too late.
Midoriya had, again, already delt with the situation.

"How exactly do your wings pick up on things before they happen??" Bakugo asked in dismay.

"They don't.
They pick up on things as they're happening.

I can sense everything that's happening within a 50 mile radius, it comes as a consequence of my full Phoenix mode when I can increase the temperature of everything within a 50 mile radius.

Now being able to sense everything within a 50 mile radius is just normal.

It sucks but eh" Midoriya replied.

"That makes a little more sense now.

How exactly does it work??"

"Well the way I differentiate between danger and just a normal day is simple.
I go off the sound waves/vibrations in the air.
Footsteps, people talking, etc all have a normal sound wave/vibration

But when danger is happening, people are typically screaming, running away, and something is happening to the surrounding.
I pick up on that more violently so I immediately know something has happened" Midoriya explained.

"Oh.
But what do you do if it's just a party?"

"People screaming bloody murder and loud music playing are 2 very different sound waves.
Anyways.
How long is this shift and why are there more bank robberies today??" Midoriya asked.

"Bank robberies happen more commonly than you think.
Robberies in general happen more often than you think.

And this shift is only starting, you have 3 more hours of this" Hawks replied.

"Oh great..." Midoriya groaned.

"Yeah back to the sky"

Hawks said as he started to fly up.

"Im going to save more people than you" Bakugo scoffed.

"That's if you can get to them first" Midoriya sighed as he flew off by Hawks.
Midoriya flew by Hawks side, scanning the ground again.

"Those people you arrested were working together, robberies of banks don't happen as frequent as today's.
But hey, at least you got your name out there?" Hawks chuckled.

"My name was already out there.
Is there anything we have to do after this shift?"

"A couple murder crimes we have to investigate but that's it."

"Murder crimes?
All by the same person or-?"

"We don't exactly know.
People have been getting robbed and whoever has been Robbing them has also been killing them.
They've all had some common way of killed death, a slit throat, a stabbed heart, etc.
