...

"They didn't come after us...?" Bakugo muttered.

"I guess so.
This sounds like a trap" Midoriya sighed.

"But why wouldn't they come after us?
That doesn't make sense..."

"Hm.
I can come up with a couple reasons.

1.
They think the public trusts them enough that brainwashing us is useless because whatever we pull out against them will be useless.

2.
They're waiting to catch us off guard to brainwash us.

Or

3.
They're trying to play along with our plan because they know I personally can't be brainwashed and it's useless." Midoriya Explained.

"That makes sense...
But now what do we do?"

"We continue with our original plan.
Tonight, we're going to steal some files from the different facilities.
But, in disguise.
There might be cameras.

They'll know it's us but with no evidence they can't convict us of anything" Midoriya replied.

"Wait how do you know they'll know it's us?"

"Because we're the only ones who escaped yesterday.
It's plain obvious.

Unless we decide to make sure it's not obvious we stole from the facility which is possible"

"And how do we do that?"

"We take pictures of the files rather than actually stealing them and place them back like how they originally found.
Then erase all security footage of us."

"Can we do that?"

"I mean.

Yeah.

That's why I brought it up"

"Is it even possible to do it all in one night though?
If there are 5 facilities and it takes around an hour or 2 to break into 1 and steal its info how are we going to do that within the span of 1 night?"
Bakugo asked.

"We don't.
We'll break it up upon the span of 5 days" Midoriya replied.

"Do we have enough time for that???"

"From how things are looking...
They aren't coming after us.
I know the boss, he's cunning.
He's playing this like it's dominos.
However Im playing chess with this.

He's basic, he assumes just because 2 pieces go together he'll win but that's not how it works when your opponent knows ways to make sure those pieces don't fit.

He's an ignorant fool.

But at the same time.
He knows what he's doing, he knows I can't be brainwashed and that it'd be a waste of time.
That's why he's not coming after me.

It's fine, by the end of this I'm winning anyways" Midoriya sighed.

"If you say so I guess.
I have to go on shift now, text me when it's time to go after a facility"

Bakugo walked out and exploded away.

Midoriya groaned as he rubbed his head, he had just come to realization that he hadn't slept all night.
The wave of tired hit him like a bullet.

He slumped out of his office and walked over to the room his interns and Eri were sleeping in.
It was 5am.

They were all sound asleep.

"I'm not leaving Eri here alone."

He lifted up Eri with his telekinesis and flew home.
He put her in her bed and immediately crashed into his and fell asleep.
He was exhausted.
