Chapter 5

New's POV

"So what's the tea?" Mix telling after we finished dinner, he was collecting the plates and putting it in the sink.

As I got the first half of my cheque, I invited his family to dinner together with Krist and Singto. I cooked my mastered recipe menudo and baked macaroni for the kids.

"Love, pakitingnan muna sila Non ha. Tutulungan lang namin si Newwiee dito." I heard my other friend say this to his boyfriend.

The kids are playing at the sala, while Earth and Singto are with them talking.

"Anong tea ang sinasabi mo dyan? Gusto mo ba ng tea? Kape lang meron ako dito."

"Tigilan mo ako sa mga kakaganyan mo Thitipoom ha. Alam mo ang sinasabi namin." Kit said, sitting on the chair at the dining table.

"Ano nga ang sinasabi nyo? Manghuhula ba ako?" still unsure what they are talking about... I may have an idea but I will not offer it.

"Hay, fine... para malinaw ang pinag-uusapan natin, since nag dedeny ka dyan. Kit mentioned to me about the CEO of LOS.
Ohm also told me that Tito Off took them for a ride, and his car is so neat. So anong tungkol sa kanya?" Mix raising his fingers putting emphasis when he said the guy's name.

"What about Off? I met him at the shoot. Hindi lang naman ako ang nakakilala sa kanya ah, even Singto and Kit met the guy." medyo defensive na sabi ko.

"Ah oo, yung ako Sir Adulkittiporn pa rin ang address sa kanya, while he insisted that you call him by his first name, and dropped the Sir."

Off has been so nice to him and Non during the shoot, seems like that the accident didn't happen at all. Very at ease ang dalawa sa isa't-isa.

During the next fifteen minutes break, his son goes directly to where Off is even though he told him that the latter might be busy with work.

"He told me that we will play daddy, saglit lang po." Nanon told him already walking near the guy.

Before following his son, he got them chocolate ice cream. Kanina pa nanghihingi ang anak nya, and he told him that he can have it during the break.

From afar he can see the two looking at Non's toy car, they are both sitting on the floor, not minding the dirt.

He was so impressed at the guy, considering he is the CEO of a big company, marunong itong makibagay.

Kitang kita niya ang ningning sa mata ng anak nya habang kausap ang binata.

Aside kasi from him, si Ohm lang ang madalas kalaro nito sa subdivision. Bihira rin nakalalabas ang anak niya dahil tulog siya sa tanghali pagkasundo nya sa bata.

Kaya sabik ito at may ibang nakakausap tungkol sa kotse, lalo na at sinabi pa ni Off na may kotse siya tulad ng laruan ni Non.

When he went near them he gave the ice cream and told his son to eat it first.

"Sir Off, ito po yung sa inyo." Telling the guy in front of him.

"Just call me Off, masyado namang pormal. Hindi din naman nagkakalayo age natin, I'm only 30yrs old, bata pa diba?" biro nito, while getting the ice cream cup he offered.

He was thinking paano nito nalaman age niya, he must have seen the form he signed.

"Okay, Off..."
