Chapter 12

Off's POV

Since the time that New agrees to help me, I've been showing him how much I love not only him but Nanon as well, and that I can take care of them both. I can only pray that he can see and feel it.

I'm starting to feel discouraged, especially when he said that there will be no wedding, not gonna lie, I was hurt.

And as much as I want to take things slow, the getting to know you part, courting, misunderstandings, I mean the usual cycle of relationship, I cannot deny the part that I am also looking forward to in saying I do to him... With him... only him...

And with my parents and Nana executing their "own plan", I can't help but fast forward and skip the stages, just to see this new plan succeed.

After eating lunch with New, Non and my family, I cornered my Nana and asked her about our initial plan.

"Nana, what happened to I will help you? I asked to build me up not to suggest a wedding. Also he doesn't love me, he only agreed to this pretense because he thought he was helping me."

"Well you still have time to make him fall for you Off, you are not an Adulkittiporn for nothing. You're dad asked us for your mom's hand in just months of courting her."

"But Nana, we haven't known each other that long. I don't want him to go running for the hills just because he is scared about all of this."

"Off, do you love him or not?" it was my mom who asked me.

"Are you part of this plan mom?" looking from her to my Nana.

"You're Nana told me about that stupid plan yours, and I may have hinted that to your dad."

I saw my mom grinned, I could only close my eyes and massage my temple. My God. Everybody knows except from New.

"Guys, I appreciate the support, really. But what if New won't love me back?"

"Off, the fact that he accepts your crazy plan, is proof enough that he may have seen something from you." ohhh I can only hope Nana is right on this.

"And that's the reason why we are here to help you dear. Just tell mommy what you need."

With that pep talk from my mom and my Nana I am more determined to make New mine.

When Non told Ohm about me being Papa, I was so happy that I couldn't contain it and hugged New and gave a quick peck on his pink lips. If only his friends were not there, I would like to taste those sweet lips some more.

He didn't also tell his friend about "us" being only an act, so I guess I really have a chance, right?

They were teasing us, and I accept it gladly, and seeing New blushing amuses me. I told his friends the truth, that it was love at first sight. I just hope New can feel the honesty in my words.

While New is talking to my mom on the phone, I asked Nanon if he wants to stay after trying out the suits, and told the kid we can play. I know I'm using the kid to get to New, but I need all the hands on the deck.

I want to know something, I want to check if he really is not immune to my charms. So when he was cooking, after I settled Nanon, I held his waist again.
I felt that he was shocked at my gesture. He tries to focus on the stove in front. But I want to see that face again up close.

And when he didn't say anything I faced him to me, which was a bad move Off...

I can see his face turn crimson pink as I touch his chin. I'm trying to hold myself from closing that distance between his lips and mine.
