Off's POV

The last few days had been hell, he was dead tired. Going to the office early and going back to his condo late at night. And the cycle begins again for the past few days.

He is working on expanding their business. In consequence he had back to back meetings, even lunch and dinner meetings either with his team or investors.

He badly needs a break. Good thing it's already Friday.

It's been days since he saw New, he again drove by at the location the following day to get a glimpse of the two.

He is still contemplating if his decision is right. But upon seeing the father and son, he is sure he wants to get closer to them.

But first things first, he wants to know more about New.

Mae gave him a sealed brown envelope when he arrived at the office after his meeting that day.

From the looks of it, he already has an idea what it is. He asked a private investigator to give him more information about New.

"Can I have a coffee and please hold all my calls Mae, thanks." he said to his secretary and went inside his office.

While drinking coffee, I started scanning the file. It shows pictures of New dropping his son to school and another one in front of their house. He is really stunning regardless if he is wearing a simple shirt.

So he is really single—

The data shows New's finances, educational background and family. The last record of insurance contribution was years ago, and Nanon is not part of the beneficiary, only his grandmother.

It doesn't contain anything related to Nanon, as to who is the kid's father.

What a mystery, a puzzle he would like to solve...

He was in that state when Arm visited his office.

"Pol, I'll go ahead, are you sure you're not going?" Arm is going to treat his staff to dinner for a job well done during the shoot. Though hindi pa tapos ang project, his friend normally does this to motivate his team.

Arm saw the pictures on the table and looked at him?

"What the heck, Jumpol? Tinuloy mo?"

He told this to his friend before, but Arm is against it.

"Ang sabi ko sayo kilalanin mo, hindi ko sinabi na pa imbestigahan mo siya. Ano? Nakuha mo ba ang gusto mong sagot?"

He shoved the papers to Arm, "It says nothing about his son."

"I'm attracted to the guy, bro, and I like the kid" finally being honest to himself. During the past few days na hindi niya nakita ang mag-ama, ramdam niya na namiss niya ang mga ito.

Those few hours spent with New and Non, he already bonded with them, especially with the kid. Ang gaan ng loob niya sa bata.

"Siguro hindi naman masamang malaman ko kung may matatapakan ba ako." him, justifying his action.

"Kung gusto mo, pala puntahan mo, alam mo naman ang bahay nila and you told me that the kid even invited you to visit them again. This is a cowardly move Off."

I shooed my friend and said "Go ahead, hinihintay ka na ng mga staff mo." Arm just shakes his head and leaves me.

I stood up and hid the documents inside the lateral cabinet and walked in front of the window.

He knows he should give time to get to know New, and ask the latter the thing that is bugging him for days.

But he is in a rush, he wants to execute his plan.
