New's POV

"Krist, what did you say to Off?"

"What do you mean?"

"He is supposed to be here. Supposed to have dinner, and it's already nine. He isn't answering my calls as well."

"Newwiee, didn't you tell him about Mild?"

"He doesn't need to know. All he needs to know is I love him."

"But how about Nanon?"

"Once I'm married to him, he will have Nanon as his own as well."

"But still New he—"

"He's here, talk to you later."

I rush to the door as soon as I hear the doorbell, and there's my fiance standing.

"Babe, you're late. I thought you're going to have dinner here."

I've waited for him, so until now I still haven't eaten yet.

"I'm sorry babe, I got stuck up in meetings."

"It's okay, let's eat."

"I already ate at the office babe, actually I had dinner with Arm and his team. Sorry, I forgot to tell you."

That was a first, he normally eats here asking me to wait for him.

"Okay, I'll eat quickly then we can go to sleep. Non is already sleeping."

"Ok, let me check on Non first before taking a shower."

"Sure babe."

What really transpired after he met Kit? He looks tired. Maybe it's because of work. Yes Newwiee, he is just tired. He needs to do all his work before the wedding.

Kit will never betray me. And I specifically told him earlier not to tell Off about him being Non's dad.

I finished my dinner quickly and checked on Off.

He's brushing Nanon's hair when I opened the door. Is he crying?

"Babe, are you crying?"

"Oh babe, I just can't believe in a few weeks he will be legally mine."

Tangina! I'm nervous as hell. Did he know?

He stands up and puts his other arm on my shoulder, leading me back to the door. But not before he kisses Non on the forehead.

This is not new, he always kisses Non. I should calm myself. He didn't and will not know about it.

"I need a shower babe, if you're sleepy you can go ahead and sleep."

"It's okay, I'll wait for you."

I prepare his clothes while waiting for him to finish. I'm still nervous about the way he acts. Maybe because I'm guilty. I need to calm down.

Been waiting for almost an hour, when I decided to check on him. And saw him in the living room talking to someone on his phone.

At this late?!

Who could that be?

"I thought you're going to have a shower."

"I did, I just needed to call someone. As I have a meeting with him tomorrow."

"Oh I thought you would work from home tomorrow."

"It's crazy at the office now babe, I might not be able to go home here."
