Neighborhood (Gguktaekook)

TP POV:

Taehyung and Jimin did end up getting invited to the party Jungkook mentioned. The host of the party came to their house in the afternoon to invite them.

She was a really sweet and nice lady. Her name was Reina. She kindly wrote down the directions for them so they wouldn't get lost.

Taehyung told Jimin about his encounter with Jungkook. His best friend hasn't stopped squealing at him every five seconds since.

The two got ready within two hours and left for the party. Jimin was wearing a flashy jacket and tee with some jeans whilst Taehyung was wearing a Hawaiian shirt with some dress pants.

And when they did find the place it felt unreal. Children running around playing games. Food on tables like a buffet. People talking, laughing, and just having a good time. Some light music going off in the background.

There were fairy lights and lanterns decorating the area and lighting it up. It was truly magical. The boys were greeted with wide smiles and warm hugs from the people of the community.

It was later disclosed that this party was for them as their arrival party. The boys felt so welcomed and humbled by their hospitality that they almost cried.

Jimin blended in quite nicely with the folks. They were just a delight to be around. This place was truly special. Taehyung felt so blessed.

A sudden tap on his shoulder made him turn around. A man was standing in front of him with a smile.

"Hello" he said. Taehyung smiled as well. The guy was in his mid thirties probably, dark brown hair, and ebony eyes. He was tall too. A bit on the chubby side.

"Hi" Taehyung tried to get over the awkwardness. Sure he was a social butterfly, but that was when he got used to his surroundings. But he was here among strangers and his best friend had went away with some noonas.

"My name is Brad. I live a block away from the Mins. It's great to have you guys here. I hope you become comfortable in this neighborhood." Brad said with a kind smile.

Taehyung bowed and thanked him for his kind words before the man left to socialize with others.

Taehyung didn't know who the Mins were but he knew that they were his neighbors. Their house was on the right side of theirs.

He hoped he would get to meet them here too. And that thought train led him to a certain raven-hired neighbor.

Taehyung suddenly remembered that he was supposed to meet Jungkook here. So for the first time after coming to the party the blond started to actively look for the male.

His eyes scanned the entire park til it landed on the one he was looking for.

Jungkook was talking to some other guys that looked similar to his age. They were all more or less wearing black.

He couldn't believe Jungkook was wearing a leather jacket and a black tee yet still managed to look godly. And those tight jeans...

Ok Taehyung stop right there.

The blond shook his head subtly before advancing towards Jungkook's crowd. The raven had turned his back towards him after one of the guys changed his position. The latter didn't seem to have noticed him yet.

Nevertheless, he walked straight toward him and lightly tapped his shoulder. But the thing was, Jungkook wasn't the only one that turned, the other guys did too.

Now the shy blond had four pair of eyes staring at him. Taehyung took in a deep breath so he wouldn't continue to stand there like a total dunce and waved at them with a shy smile.
