TP POV:

After Namjoon had revealed the murder of Ms. Gon the next few days had become very gloomy.

Especially for Jimin since he interacted with her more than Taehyung.

It's traumatizing enough when someone you know passes away. But it takes on a bigger form of trauma when you find out they hadn't passed away the way nature had originally intended.

Ms. Gon was a bright lady with an even brighter outlook on life. It is simply cruel how she died the way she did. Such a gruesome death Taehyung wouldn't even wish it upon his worst enemy.

She was stabbed seven times and her head was bashed in. Her eyes were plucked out and she was laying on her own pool of blood.

Even the description made Taehyung shiver when he heard it on the news that morning. It was horrible. Simply horrible.

And the thought of the murderer still lurking around the neighborhood didn't make the blond feel safe anymore. He still had to go to work, life had to go on. But the constant bitter feeling in his gut and the sadness that overcame him everytime he looked at Jimin's solemn face, was a daily reminder of the harrowing incident.

The police were still working on the case. Some details being given to the public whilst others were just rumors.  Yoongi had apparently come back to the house. Taehyung would see their lights turned on in ungodly hours of the night.

Hoseok had also returned after his brother. Said brother Taehyung still hasn't seen due to the latter's extensive workload at the moment. Hoseok would pop by sometimes to lighten up the mood.

It was early morning and a weekend. Taehyung didn't even know why he was awake this early. Jimin was still fast asleep in his room when he went to check. He went downstairs soon after.

The blond was making himself some cereal when the doorbell rang. It was much too early for anyone to be coming for a visit. The twins were definitely sleeping in and Hoseok wasn't going come over unannounced.

So with caution the blond advanced towards the door. Obviously the times weren't that good currently. So he had to be extra careful for whom he opened the door.

He looked at the peephole and saw a flock of Auburn hair. The figure walked backwards a little and Taehyung got a glimpse of the man's face. A face he recognized actually.

It was Yoongi.

Hoseok and Namjoon had shown him enough pictures of the male for him to recognize him til the next lifetime.

Plus he was wearing a police uniform so he must be here on business. So without another thought he pulled the door open. "Hello Yoongi-ssi"

Yoongi smiled at him, slightly shocked but smiled nonetheless. "I see Hope has talked about me" he said with a chuckle. "Hope?" The blond asked confused. He didn't know anyone by the name Hope.

Yoongi seemed to have caught on to what he had said and apologized. "I meant Hoseok." He clarified. Now that was a name Taehyung recognized.

He introduced himself to his neighbor. "Where are my manners. Won't you come in Yoongi-ssi." Taehyung stepped aside for the Auburn-head to walk in, which the latter did.

"I'm sorry for coming in unannounced. But it was a bit urgent" he explained as Taehyung sat him down on one of the couches. "I see. Does it have something to do with Ms. Gon?" The blond asked rather sympathetically.

Yoongi gave him a sad smile. "Yes, that is correct. If you wouldn't mind, could you call over your housemate? I need to ask some questions" he asked as politely and professionally as he could.

"Please wait a moment" Taehyung said and rushed upstairs. He hated to wake up a peacefully sleeping Jimin. But he had to cooperate with the police.

So reluctantly, he woke up his best friend. Jimin was tired and obviously didn't appreciate being woken up so early on a weekend but when Taehyung explained what was going on he quickly jumped out of bed.

"Can I get you something whilst he gets down?" The blond asked Yoongi when he walked downstairs. Jimin getting freshened up upstairs.

"Just some water would be great, thank you" the police officer answered politely. It was a rather hot day and Yoongi was parched.

The blond nodded and went to the kitchen to retrieve some water for his guest. Whilst doing so he may or may not have shoved a spoonful of cereal into his mouth. He didn't want his tummy making weird noises whilst Yoongi was still here.

Just as he put down the glass of water in front of the male Jimin had walked down. The male bowed in greeting to the officer and introduced himself before he sat beside Taehyung on the sofa opposite from Yoongi.

"I should introduce myself properly. I am Min Yoongi, an officer of the state police department. And although I didn't want out first meeting to be like this, it seems I don't have any other choice" he said with an apologetic smile.

The boys small head shake of denial before Yoongi continued. "I presume you already know what happened to Ms. Gon" he stated softly. Jimin's face dropping instantly. "We are doing our best to find the culprit but unfortunately there wasn't much on the crime scene. So we are trying to talk to everyone who she was aquatinted with" He explained.

"So I would like to ask you some questions" he requested. When the boys noded in agreement Yoongi started asking various questions.

Things like when was the last time they saw her? Did she behave differently than usual? Was she getting threatened by anyone? Did they see anyone suspicious around the neighborhood? Etc.

Taehyung and Jimin couldn't answer many of the questions as they haven't known Ms. Gon for that long nor have they been staying in the neighborhood for long. So they felt guilty for not being that much of a help.

"Thank you for your cooperation. You guys have been a great help" Yoongi said with a kind smile. The boys bowed to him as he was going away.

Jimin still felt tired so he went back to his room and Taehyung chugged down the rest of his cereal.

"Where's my phone?" Taehyung looked around trying to find the device. He wanted to scroll through social media but apparently he didn't bring his phone down with him.

So with a sigh he went back upstairs to retrieve his phone. Taehyung's room had a big window just beside his bed with a cute windowsill that he himself decorated. His bed was a decent size and had a bedside table beside it.

The walls were light pink and white sheen curtains were hanging from the rails. His furniture was mostly made of dark wood and white wood. It was a very aesthetically pleasing room.

He looked at the headboard of his bed which had multiple polaroids and faity lights hanging on it. He stopped in his tracks as he looked at the pictures once more. He couldn't pinpoint what but something felt out of place.

He scanned the rows of pictures once more and saw that there was one polaroid missing. But Taehyung didn't remember which one it was. He walked closer and looked around the bed to see if it was laying there or not but didn't find anything.

At last he just shrugged it off. He was going to take off some pictures anyways so he could put new ones. He didn't even remember which one was missing. He figured it was laying on the floor somewhere. He'd find it eventually. Instead he turned to his beside table to get his phone. But he stopped again.

There was a frame there with his and Jimin's picture on it. The frame seemed to be tilted slightly in a different way than it was before. And did he really keep his phone that far from his bed? Everything seemed to be out of place for Taehyung this morning.

Strange.
