TP POV:

Jimin was in the middle of his shoot when Taehyung's screams reached his ears. And without a second thought he ran for his best friend. He was sure Jungkook was behind him too.

When he flung himself through the dressing room door he saw Taehyung screaming for dear life and crying. Jeongguk was tightly holding onto him whilst Hoseok just stood there helpless not knowing what to do.

Jimin's heart dropped seeing Taehyung's brown hair. Ever since that incident happened Jimin has never seen Taehyung's natural hair again. The male was traumatized to this day having been unable to move on.

Seeing his father again might have triggered him. The brunette rushed towards Taehyung's crying figure and crouched down in front of him. "Tae? Hey, it's me Jiminie. Breath sweetheart. Everything is okay. You are safe" he started chanting this like a mantra over and over again for Taehyung to hear.

Taehyung didn't stop crying. But he did recognize Jimin's voice. So he clutched onto him when Jeongguk backed up. The twins could feel their guts twist unpleasantly seeing their angel cry.

Jimin gestured for Hoseok to do something about his hair since Taehyung would start panicking again if he saw them. So the silver-head quickly got a bucket-hat for the other and covered all of his hair.

The brunette then managed to coax the latter to leave with him. He sobbed all the way back home. Jeongguk driving them and Jungkook sitting in the passenger seat. Hoseok was beside Jimin in the backseat.

He brought Taehyung to his room and requested for the rest to stay outside. Taehyung would only get more scared if there were more people around him. He felt his heart hurt as he saw the twins' pained expression and Hoseok's sad smile.

But he couldn't do anything else at the moment. Taehyung was his first priority. He sat his soulmate down on the bed and cradled him just like he did all those years ago.

Taehyung cried on his shoulder and hugged him tightly, afraid he'd lose him too if he let go. Jimin's fingers combed through Taehyung's brown locks as he swayed them slowly.

"He's gonna kill me Jiminie" Taehyung whimpered. "No he's not. I won't let him. Jeongguk and Jungkook would never let anyone hurt you. You're not alone" Jimin reassured over and over again. And he would continue to do so for as long as Taehyung needed to hear it.

He remembered doing this before too. During the countless nights Taehyung would wake up with nightmares. It felt like yesterday when all that happened.

Their neighborhood wasn't the most secure place to live. The two of them grew up within toxic people and their equally toxic community.

Jimin's mother had a horrible addiction for drugs. He's heard his own father died of overdose. He never was much emotionally attached to his mother. But Taehyung was the opposite. Even if his father was a shit Taehyung's mother was like an angel.

Jimin remembers how she'd hug him so tenderly. She loved him just how she loved Taehyung. She was the only parent figure Jimin knew. His own mother barely ever acknowledged his existence. So he stopped thinking about her too.

That was until one day she just up and left him to fend for himself.

Taehyung back then was his saving grace. Him and his mother took care of him the best they could. He took in odd jobs and Taehyung went with him. They both worked their asses off and graduated from school. Taehyung's mother helped them of course.

And soon after their graduation that incident happened.

That night when Taehyung came to him crying and bloody Jimin didn't hesitate to embrace him. He called the cops and then and there decided to leave that place with Taehyung and never return.

And so that night they left.

Her death shattered something in their life that will never be fixed again. They still live with that gaping hole in their hearts.

During their struggling years, they had promised each other to always stay together and die together. They went through everything together.

From sleeping in the alleyways to earning paychecks, they've been through it all together. And he would be damned if he let that rotten excuse of a human to hurt his precious friend ever again.

Jimin blinked back to reality when he felt Taehyung go unconscious in his arms. The poor boy cried himself to sleep.

The brunette gently laid Taehyung in bed and decided to call Hoseok over. He wanted to clean up Taehyung's hair dye before he woke up again.

The atmosphere was thick and the room was silent as they worked carefully to clean Taehyung's hair.

"There. Now let's just let him sleep" Hoseok whispered. Jimin nodded in return. "But I can't leave him like this. He'll start panicking if he wakes up alone." Jimin whispered once more, refusing to leave the blond alone.

"At least eat something quickly before coming back. I'm sure the twins are worried too" the silver-head reasoned. That made the brunette sigh and nod.

He could see how the twins were trying their best to stay put even though all they wanted was to be with their boyfriend.

Their heads shot up when Jimin walked into the living room. He smiled at them sadly which they returned. "Tae's sleeping right now. Can you guys go watch over him for me while I eat?" He asked softly. The twins vigorously nodded and practically dashed upstairs.

Jimin and Hoseok chuckled at their antics. "Hyung, I have a request" Jimin said as he sat down on kitchen aisle. "Shoot" was the only thing Hoseok said as he handed over a sandwich.

"Every time Taehyung has these episodes he'd want to change his hair color every time. If he wants to do that this time as well, then I'll join him. Could help us with it?" The brunette humbly requested. "Of course! I will go buy the products today if I have to" Hoseok replied enthusiastically.

Jimin chuckled and shook his head. "No need, we have all the supplies in that cupboard" he replied and pointed at the topmost cupboard. Hoseok was curious so he opened it but gasped when he saw at least fifteen packages of different hair colors.

"Wha- why are there so many?!" the silver-head asked exasperated. But the shrug and solemn look Jimin gave just answered his question.

The room was again left silent and melancholic.
