Neighborhood (Gguktaekook)

TP POV:

Taehyung was very worried. Jungkook kept spacing out everytime he wasn't paying attention, he would stay like that for hours if someone didn't nudge him. He even caught him crying in Jimin's room once.

He was again spaced out on the couch as some random show went on. He sat there right after breakfast and now it was noon. Taehyung sighed as he watched Jungkook stare at the TV with blank eyes, mind floating somewhere else.

The blond just went up to the latter and sat beside him. The raven didn't even flinch. He still sat there absolutely motionless.

So Taehyung leaned sideways and laid his head against the latter's shoulder. That contact jerked Jungkook back to the real world. "Glad to have you back again Kookie" he whispered softly and smiled up at the raven.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung flabbergasted. He didn't know what to say, so he settled for an awkward smile. "You okay?" He asked again with a soft voice, as if saying it any louder would break Jungkook into pieces.

Jungkook nodded at him saying he was fine, but Taehyung could definitely see the hesitation. He didn't push it further though. "Wanna watch a movie with me?" He offered sweetly instead.

And how could Jungkook refuse those battering puppy eyes. He had no choice but to say yes. And so they started watching an animation movie. The genre Taehyung liked the most.

Jimin was at Hoseok's place and Jeongguk was out taking a walk. Both of them being home alone at the moment meant they had nothing else to do anyway.

Halfway through the movie Jungkook was starting to space out again but didn't because Taehyung started singing along with the cartoon characters. And doing so rather loudly.

But the scene of him bouncing his head to the beat, his fluffy hair bouncing with the movement, and his adorable expression just made all the dark thoughts go away. Taehyung in this moment was so pure that Jungkook wanted to stay grounded to reality a little while longer, just so he could relish in the beauty of his innocence.

The raven didn't know but when Taehyung turned to look at him with the biggest boxy smile in the world, his heart skipped a beat, his mind melted, and his lips twitched up subconsciously. This male before him was someone Jungkook wanted to keep staring at forever.

Because in Taehyung Jungkook found his solace.

"Can I lay my head on your lap?" He asked suddenly and unexpectedly. He himself didn't know why he blurted that out. But Taehyung didn't seem fazed or confused. He simply smiled and patted his lap as an invitation.

Jungkook felt his heart beat a little more than it should.

The raven breathed out a puff of air and laid his head gently on the blond's lap. His legs needed to be bent a little for his whole body to fit the couch.

Taehyung's hand automatically went to Jungkook's luscious locks as he slowly combed through them. The raven felt so comfortable in that position that he fell asleep a few minutes later.

Taehyung kept watching the movie with the raven sleeping with his head on his lap. But before the movie could end Taehyung fell into slumber as well.

The next moment Taehyung opened his eyes it took him a moment to realize that his head was against someone's shoulder. He lifted his pretty head and blinked a few times before actually looking at the person beside him.

The familiar handsome features and raven hair greeted him back with that same sexy smile that made his tummy flip every time. "Sleep well?" He asked with his raspy deep voice, his charming smile just made Taehyung's heart pound.
