TP POV:
Jungkook and Jeongguk went running upstairs the minute Jimin told them Taehyung wanted to see them. The morning sun had brought them some good news.
Taehyung had finally calmed down.
"Jimin, why don't you come over to my house for a bit? You need time to heal too my friend" Hoseok offered. The brunette smiled at his kindness. "Will you change my hair color if I go?" He asked lightly and somewhat teasingly.
Hoseok laughed, "of course. Let's go choose your color" the silver-head smiled brightly and lead Jimin to his humble abode nextdoor.
The twins on the other hand cautiously walked into the room Taehyung was at. Jeongguk was the one to creak the door open gently. The open door revealed a disheveled Taehyung laying on the bed.
He was staring straight at them with puffy and swollen red eyes. He looked like he cried the whole night. Just the thought of it made their hearts clench.
"Come here" Taehyung's voice was strained as it cracked at the end of the sentence. His hand softly gesturing the two ravens to come closer.
The boys instantly walked over. Taehyung shifted to the middle of the bed, clearly stating what he wanted. Jeongguk laid down to the left of the blond whilst Jungkook laid on the right. Both wrapping their arms securely around his waist because they know Taehyung likes to cuddle.
They stayed like that as they stared at the ceiling or each other silently. "Do you wanna talk about it?" Jeongguk decided to break the ice. Taehyung visibly stiffened but slowly shook his head in the negative.
"Do you wanna talk about anything else?" Jungkook asked this time, his thumb gently stroking Taehyung's clothed tummy. The blond looked down and saw Jeongguk's tattoo.
He placed his slim fingers over his inked skin and started tracing the intricate design. "Let's talk about this. What does this tattoo mean to you?" Taehyung asked, voice bare and genuine.
Jeongguk paused for a second to look at his twin. Seeing Jungkook's reassuring nod he spoke up. "It's a Chinese dragon. It's upward motion from my wrist to my shoulder symbolizes the path to confidence and good fortune. To thrive the way you are and be unstoppably and unapologetically you" the raven explained.
"That's amazing. I like the message" Taehyung traced the patterns over and over as he absorbed the true meaning behind it. "It's not for me" Jeongguk informed. Taehyung looked up confused.
"I got this tattoo for Jungkook" the raven further explained. The words made Taehyung smile wholeheartedly. He then turned to look at the other twin and patted his hair.
"I have a tattoo too you know" Jungkook said out of context. Taehyung laughed lightly and nodded. "I know. You told me. Will you show it to me?" He asked quietly, his voice so close to a whisper.
Jungkook just nodded and stood up before turning around and taking off his shirt. Taehyung gasped audibly as he saw the giant phoenix that was etched all over Jungkook's back. The mythical bird seemingly flying upwards from the flames beneath.
The blond couldn't help himself and sat up so he could run his fingers over the beautiful design. Jungkook slightly shivered at the feathery touch.
"I got this for Gguk" Jungkook slowly turned around to face his boyfriend as he put on his shirt. He saw how Taehyung's eyes breifly traveled to the scar on his shoulder. "What does it mean?" Taehyung asked again.
"To move on. To leave all the ashes of pain behind and fly away stronger and move forward as a new self" Jungkook answered looking directly at his brother who had a smile over his lips.
