TP POV:

"So you're telling me, after all these days of searching you only have one strand of hair as evidence?" Jungkook looked at Yoongi shocked.

They were all sitting at Jin's cafe discussing the case as the Café was off. All of the boys sitting around the table with food and drinks.

"Mark my words Jungkookie. I will catch that killer with just that strand of hair. It's crucial evidence" Yoongi said with his coffee mug raised.

"Did the lab run checks on the sample?" Jeongguk asked munching on a french fry. "They'll give the report soon. It's getting delayed because they are overloaded with work and understaffed" Yoongi said as he sipped on the hot beverage without blowing off the steam.

"You sure you feel pain hyung? How could someone drink hot coffee without getting scalded?" Jimin asked in wonder. "I ask the same thing Jimin" Namjoon joked making the brunette chuckle.

Yoongi just rolled his eyes, "for the last time, I do feel pain. It hurt like a bitch when I got shot during a sting last year. Hot coffee is just something I can handle is all." The Auburn hair explained.

"Taehyung? Are you okay bud? You seem a bit quiet today" Jin asked concerned as he was watching the blond from the first he walked in.

Taehyung seemed to snap out of his daze at the call of his name only to see all eyes on him. "You okay petal? You're spacing out quite a bit" Jeongguk asked concerned too. The raven placing a hand on his thigh and patting it gently as a comforting gesture.

The blond smiled weakly at them but didn't say anything. "Hey, Babydoll, if you want to talk about it we're all ears. Take your time. But of you don't want to, we won't force you" Jungkook gave him a reassuring smile as well.

Jimin couldn't bare to see his best friend so scared and distracted. He pulled the blond in a hug and stayed in that position.

Taehyung took in a deep breath and looked down on his lap. "I just- it's scary to think that someone was watching me and going through my stuff when I was sleeping. I-I can't fathom the thought of sleeping tonight. These thoughts keep plaguing my mind, what if I can't fall asleep tonight? what if I'm awake when he's there in my room? what if he does something to me? What if he hurts me? I just- I just feel so scared" Taehyung let a tear slip and instantly he was bundled up in warm hugs.

All of them hugged him from all sides, even Yoongi. "It's going to be alright Tae. We'll be watching you at all times tonight. The minute he's even close to your room we'll catch him. And the twins will beat the crap out of him" Hoseok said while patting Taehyung's hair.

"Damn right we will" both the twins said simultaneously. Taehyung let out a breathy chuckle. "Thank you guys. So so much" the blond croaked out.

They all broke the hug and decided on staying at either the twins' house or Hoseok and Yoongi's so they could stay alert for Taehyung.

Jimin was going to be in his room monitoring Taehyung too. With a baseball bat by his side.

Night befell quicker than Taehyung anticipated. And what he feared was happening. He just couldn't fall asleep. He had an earpiece on to keep communicating with the guys.

Never in his life did the blond think he would be part of a sting operation. But here he was. Laying on his bed waiting for a stalker.

"Do you want me to sing a lullaby for you doll? I can sing well" Jungkook said through the piece. The rest teased him. Trying to lighten up the heavy atmosphere as much as they could.

"Yes please. I would like that very much" the blond softly replied with a sweet smile on his lips. Eventhough the raven couldn't see it he smiled too.

"-I can make you mine, taste your lips of wine~ any time.
Night or day.
Only trouble is, gee whiz.

Before Jeongguk could even end his song the blond had already fallen into peaceful sleep.

"Your voice is still as beautiful" Jin complemented through the earpiece. "Thank you Jinnie hyung" the raven smiled. "You should have went for that audition Kook. You would've done great" Jeongguk complemented as he handed his brother a cup of hot cocoa.

"Like I said, it's just a hobby Gguk" Jungkook said with a chuckle. "Hobby my ass. You've got a voice of an angel. The world needs it" Yoongi said jokingly but he was very serious.

Jungkook laughed softly at that. "Who the hell is snoring? It's not Taehyung" Hoseok suddenly blurted out. They all stayed silent for a bit. "It's Jimin isn't it" Namjoon said with a done tone.

"Yep" they all answered at the same time. "Jungkookie's voice strikes again" Jeongguk joked making all of them share a soft laugh.

They waited and waited all night to see if anyone walked in to the house premises but there was no one.

The camera showed no footage of anyone coming in. They waited the whole night but the stalker just didn't show up that night.

Nor the night after.

Or the night after that.

Unfortunately not everyone was able to keep a look out every night so Yoongi, Hoseok, and the twins decided to take turns monitoring Taehyung's room all night.

The blond felt so helpless and like such a burden. He couldn't help but feel bad that he was making his friends suffer because of this.

Even if they all assured him that they were doing this because they want to help but that didn't ease the guilt off of Taehyung's heart.

Now he only hoped this guy would get caught soon and his nightmares would end.
