Sam got on the train and she sat down. She let out a deep sigh. She was glad that she was finally alone. Josh and Ginnifer probably meant well, but they were hot on their heels.

After sitting on the train for a while, she was finally at the location where they agreed. Sam sat on a bench in the park and texted Dylan to say she'd arrived. At the same time, she saw a boy with brown hair walking towards her. That must be Dylan, she thought.

"Hey Dylan how are you?" asked Sam and she walked over to him and did a handshake. "Are you okay?" Dylan asked Sam "I'm okay" Sam replied with a shrug "Tell me what's wrong" Dylan asked again and the two of them sat down on a bench. "I'm sure they all mean well, but they push on like that," she replied. "Who that new family you live in now?" Dylan asked again, Sam nodded 'I wasn't even allowed to go to you at first' Sam sighed 'I'm sure it will be all right, they're just worried' Dylan said. 'Yeah right..'

Dylan and Sam walked through town until Dylan bumped into her and said, "Isn't that your foster dad over there in that poster on the wall?" And indeed now she saw it herself. 'Yes, that's Josh, he said he was an actor, but I didn't know he was so famous either.' She replied 'you are lucky to have them as foster parents' he said to Sam again. "Yes it will," she said with a shrug again and the two continued on their way.

'Shall we play football?' Dylan asked as they passed a group of kids playing soccer. "Yes, fine, but where do you want to get a ball from?" asked Sam 'nowhere we're just going to join them' he replied. Dylan walked over to the group of boys to ask if they could join in, a big boy replied that he could but Sam couldn't because girls couldn't play football, he thought. Sam heard that and said 'you should pay attention! Or are you afraid I'll score a goal for you?'

"Okay, let's see what you can do," The boy replied. The group split into two teams and the game began. On one of the first times Sam got the ball, she dribbled past three big boys and shot the ball to Dylan who then scored. The two flew into each other's arms and the other boys gave Sam a high five.

It went on like this for a while until Sam checked her phone to check the time, shocked to see that she had seven missed calls from Ginnifer and three from Josh. Of course, Sam had completely forgotten to share her location, so she decided to send Ginnifer a quick text to say she was okay and then quickly put her phone away.

After an hour, everyone was exhausted and Sam and Dylan decided to grab some food from a nearby snack bar. When the two were about to leave, one of the boys ran up to Sam and said, "Sorry I said girls can't play soccer because you're really, really good." Sam smiled and said "Thank you" and they walked away.

Sam and Dylan sat down on a bench, each holding a bowl of chips. "What time do you have to be home?" asked Dylan 'at eight o'clock' Sam replied 'then I'd better hurry it's already seven thirty!' said Dylan 'Shit! I'll never make it again, now they'll be mad at me again.." Sam sighed and she ate her bowl like a spear gave Dylan a hug and said "you'll come by my house soon" "yes alright we text well, you go to the station more quickly and be a little nice to your foster parents okay.' Dylan said 'yes it'll be fine' Sam replied and she walked towards the station at a fast pace.

When Sam finally got to the station, she saw the train she needed to leave right in front of her. Now I will never be on time, she thought. She decided to wait at the station for a new train to arrive, which will not be until half past eight. The clock struck eight and immediately she got a call from Josh, this time she answered.

"Hey Sam where are you now?" Josh asked over the phone. 'I missed my train,' the girl said in a soft tone. 'Don't worry, where are you? Then I'll come and pick you up' said Josh 'at the station but I'll catch the next train will be fine' replied Sam. 'No hear nothing of that I won't leave you alone so long I'm coming now.' and Josh hung up the phone.

Maybe Dylan was right and her new foster parents weren't so bad after all, Sam thought to himself.
