"Sam, can I ask you something?" Ginnifer asked the girl. "Of course," Sam replied. "Josh told me about that friend of yours who was looking for you, what did he want to ask?" asked Ginnifer. She looked curiously at the girl. Sam's facial expression changed instantly. "He told me he was moving to New York." Sam said softly.

"Oh dear." said Ginnifer. She put an arm around the girl and Sam had tears in her eyes. "But it's good for him, he finally has a family." Sam said determinedly between the sobs. "That's true, of course." Ginnifer replied in agreement. "I hope he comes to a family as good as I have now." said Sam. She gave Ginnifer a hug. "We can always visit him again when we need to be in New York." Ginnifer told the girl and Sam nodded.

"What about that friend of yours?" Ginnifer asked further. 'Who? Niall?' Sam looked at Ginnifer in surprise. "Yes he, is he your boyfriend?" she asked further. Sam felt himself turn red. She thought for a moment, then said, "Actually, I don't know." Ginnifer started laughing. 'It doesn't matter at all. He seems like a nice boy." She winked. "Are you ready to go to court now? To make everything really really official?' Ginnifer asked the girl. 'Yes! You bet Ginny.' And she gave Ginnifer a hug.

Just before the family left, Sam noticed that Hugo was having a hard time tying his shoelaces. 'Hey Huug, do I need to lace up your laces? Sam asked sweetly to the toddler. "Yes please, Sammie." answered Hugo. "Did you know I got my lacing diploma when I was your age?" Sam looked at the boy. 'I have yet to learn it. I do the practice with the teacher.' Hugo told. 'Keep practicing! Then you will soon be able to do it all by yourself.'

When Sam was done Hugo gave her a hug. "Thank you Sam for being such a sweet big sister." he said to the girl. "No problem my dear friend" Sam replied.

"I want to sit next to Sam!" Hugo said as everyone got into the car. "And me next to Zoey!" said Oliver. 'Are we already having trouble with car places? It's all right, guys, but then I'll have to move the seats for a while.' Josh replied. Josh moved the seats and then everyone could sit down.

"Everyone ready?" Josh asked after moving everything. 'Yes!' Sounded the voices of Sam, Zoey, Oliver and Hugo. 'Beautiful! There we go. We'll be late soon.' Josh and Ginnifer also got into the car and headed for the courthouse.

Josh parked the car and everyone got out. To Sam and Zoey's great surprise, they saw a lot of people standing there. "Colin, Jen! What are you doing here?' Zoey asked the couple. "Of course we want to be there live when you officially become part of the Dallas family." Colin winked. "We're also so proud of how you handled this." Jennifer said and she gave the two girls a hug. And then Sam and Zoey gave Colin a hug too.

Zoey and Jennifer walked on, but Sam and Colin stopped for a moment. "Thank you for being there for me during my hard times." Sam said to Colin. "No problem, Sammie, I'm always here for you," Colin said, patting the girl on the back. "Now go quickly to your family." Colin said and Sam nodded. She quickly walked over to the rest of her family.

As they were about to walk in, Sam saw another person who looked familiar to her. Curious, she walked over to the boy.

'Hey Niall! What are you doing here?' she asked the boy who came walking up to her. "Ginnifer invited me, she wanted me to be there too." he replied. Sam looked quickly at Ginnifer, who was smiling at her. Then Sam walked over to Niall and gave him a hug. 'I'm proud of you.' Niall said and he then kissed Sam on the mouth.

Sam was shocked for a moment, but then she remembered what Ginnifer had asked her earlier. Yes, it's official it's her boyfriend. Sam quickly looked back and saw that her family had walked into court and quickly gave Niall another kiss. Niall smiled and Sam turned and followed her family.
