"Did you bring your overnight bag?"

His eyebrow arched.

"We're not going back to my place after?"

Regius questioned as Mya shook her head.

She looked good in the passenger seat of his black g-wagon.

Regius didn't know how he got this lucky. Just last week, he'd thought he'd be stuck unable to commit to one woman and here he was, a week later committing to one woman.

"Babe."

She stared at him.

"You frequent a hotel room to sleep with women, I'm not staying there."

She finished.

She did have a point but,

"You also found yourself in that room."

She deadpanned him as he chuckled.

"I'm joking, but you're right. I'm looking for a condo. The hotel room and living with my dad and grandad is washed up. I need my own place."

She nodded.

"I second that, but until then my doors are always open."

His eyebrow arched.

"Is that why you wanted me to bring an overnight bag? You're really feeling me huh?"

Her cheeks flushed red as she stared out of the window.

"It was an offer."

She retorted.

"Did Josh ever get that offer?"

He knew now was not the time to bring it up, they were good, but he wanted to know.

Mya shook her head.

Her eyes closed and then she opened them.

"I'm not proud of Josh, I was at college, my head was all over the place. I didn't care to date anyone and I met Josh one day just strolling through the campus..."

"Wait you went to USC?"

Mya nodded.

"You?"

Regius nodded.

Both their mouths opened.

"How did I never see you?"

He questioned as Mya squinted her eyes at him.

"I think I did see you. Orientation weekend."

Regius' memory clicked.

"You bumped into me and then stared at me as if you'd seen a ghost."

"Not my best moment but yes."

She confessed as Regius chuckled.

"Maybe if Sean had not pulled me away, I would have been in Josh's place?"

May shook her head.

"You're where you need to be at the time you need to be there."

She placed her head on his shoulder.

"Josh was never anything serious, we slept together on and off and I ended it before I graduated and he got drafted. My parents never knew. Jeston suspected because everytime Josh saw him he'd ask about me, but I just never felt the way he felt."

Her words were reassurance that Josh wasn't the one she wanted.

She was here with him and that made Regius feel the most secure.
