"She is the sister I told you I had," Wendy answers Mackenzie.
" So that means you are a Wild, Brooke?" Mackenzie asks Brooke.
" Yes, if we can say it like that," Brooke responds nastily.
Mackenzie stays astonished by the situation when she hears Ashley's voice shouting her name. She responds to the call, excuses herself in front of the girls then, and gets down to Ashley.
Brooke stays a minute, in front of her sister, trying to understand why is it happening to her. She has many questions to ask her sister right now, like how comes she always succeeds in invading her world?
Wendy turns to Mackenzie's bed to take her books, pens and bag for her to get back home. She carries her bag and forwards to the door where Brooke is still placed. Trying to get out, Brooke holds her and gets her in front.
" How comes, you know Mackenzie?" Brooke asks widely. Wendy does not answer and instead runs away from any eye contact with her sister, who may be super furious. " I think I asked you a question," Brooke repeats angrily.
" And I'm not obliged to answer, all I can tell you is that... I am giving maths lessons to Mackenzie for two weeks," Wendy says.
" Oh! and do mom knows that?" Brooke asks, with a winning face!
"No!" Wendy answers with a low voice " But it does not interfere with my curfew." Wendy continues before adding..." And you? When do you know Mackenzie?"
" Since yesterday at the party. We became friends, she and her friends are just like me, we understand ourselves perfectly and don't think a fearful baby like you can understand that, I mean look at the way you are dressed? Like saint Maria! So open your ears and listen... My friends aren't yours, okay?" Brooke says, threatening her sister.
Wendy prefers not to get much attention to her sister's words, hangs her books hard and crosses her sister to get out. " Always, thinking everything should be for her and no one else. Yes, they do things I don't, yes they aren't like me, and so what?... I have the right to..." She stumbles on the stairs cases after such a long moment of battle with her mind, before Wayatt, just passing, hurries to her and asks if everything is alright.
She just shakes her head a little from right to left while trying to stand up. Wayatt takes her books and hangs them to her, she looks at him with tenderness and takes her books back "I could sink into his eyes and never come back!" She says to herself.
" Are you okay?" Wayatt asks while bringing her to the nearest chair.
Brooke on the staircases stares at them while biting her nails with resentment, about how her sister is been feted by her prey, she always nips her nails when she is angry, sad or nervous. She growls lowly, wanting to cut off their delicious moment but, opportunity shows itself to whom it is to expect. "At each step, a battle, so keep on fighting," she says her favourite quote to herself while clenching her fist, lightly.
