It is raining, and the couple is already back home. Brooke is sitting beside the window of Wayatt's room, looking at the delicate droplet of water flowing on the glass, far in her thoughts. How incredible their journey was, asking herself how has she missed such a pleasure, such moments, thinking Wayatt is just like a bad habit necessary for her survival. Bad habit because, she craves for him as she never did and, necessary for her because she is afraid to return into darkness if ever all this ends and needs him to keep her alive. She feels like she is a piece of land that needs to be watered as days pass by. How can she fall in love in just some weeks? And by the way, how could she fall for him?" I need him in my life for sure!"
Wayatt gets out of the shower room, with brown jogging and white underwear, tracing out his pecs and muscles, showing off some of his tattoos.
"What are you looking out there?" Wayatt interrogates.
"Nothing babe!" She says.
" Ummm by the way. You were stunning in your dress today." Wayatt appreciates, perfectly knowing she was waiting for it.
"You took your time before saying it." She rolls her eyes and they chuckle. "Can you just give me the camera in my back? let's see the pictures." Brooke expresses.
Wayatt direct to her bag, opens it and pulls out the camera, but a paper falls from the bag. He bends to pick it and seems it is an old piece of the newspaper " The wild family are in mourning, following a helicopter crash of their head of family and businessman Jeremy Wild" Wayatt couldn't understand the meaning of this newspaper, perfectly knowing she has a father called Grey Wild as Wendy told him one day, so who is Jeremy Wild?
"Have you found it?" Brooke asks impatiently.
Wayatt turns to her and shows her instead the newspaper, she opens widely her eyes and half-open her mouth before snoring slowly, not knowing what to say. " Who is it?" Wayatt asks coming closer to Brooke.
"You–you don't know him?" Brooke asks in her turn. She bends her head and sighs heavily, then comes back to Wayatt " Jeremy Wild is my father... My late father, I lost him when I was eight years old."
" And Grey?..." Wayatt starts
" He is my father in law and brother to my father. He got married to my mom two years after my father died. You never made a research on us?" She interrogates stunned.
Wayatt sits in front of her on the large chair she is sitting on, besides the window, still raining outside. " No! I never saw the use to do that."
The room remains mute, melancholy surrounding it at the sound of the sad news. Wayatt doesn't know what to say seeing Brooke awful about the news he came up with, he feels guilty!
"I'm sorry Brooke." He apologizes.
"Don't be! I think it has been a long time I haven't talk about that painful day. We all decided to forget about it, but I think it's time to recall about it." Brooke says with sorrow.
"You are not up large too," Wayatt assures.
Brooke peeks at Wayatt tenderly and brushes his jaw delicately with a pessimistic smirk "You're so kind, I feel so good confessing to you my thoughts. I need to do that, to turn up this page if possible. You will understand why." She removes her hand from Wayatt's jaw and inhales then exhales slowly.
"I was just eight years old when my father left me. He was in the parlor quarrelling with my mom as they used to. That day I couldn't sleep and decided to spy on them. They were shouting at each other, my mom was accusing my father of having a relationship with Mado while my father was accusing my mother of having a relationship with his brother. At a certain moment, I felt like they will be closing up with their quarrel, so I ran rapidly to my bed and pretended to sleep before my father comes and tells me goodnight.
