Brooke after trying to revise, even though it hasn't been easy, gets to the kitchen and meets Wendy. Seeing her, seems unpleasant to Brooke, so she turns immediately not wanting to talk to Wendy.

" Brooke wait," Wendy takes down her glass of water, and gets closer to Brooke.

Brooke turns to Wendy and with a bare voice she asks" what!"

" Ummm, I saw you going in Wayatt's room with him, last night. What... What happened?"

Brooke looks at her sister as if she was an alien in front of her. Wondering the type of question she is asking.

" Am I asking you what you are doing with Wayatt?" Brooke gets out of herself " why do you want to know?... Anyway do not worry anymore," Brooke calms down and breathes " I'm done with the game, you have won. Get Wayatt and I will go far from here. Congratulations." Brooke turns back, but Wendy isn't determined to leave her, intrigued by her decision.

" I do not understand, why have you taken such a decision? I mean, it not normal,"

" Wendy Wild, what do you not understand by << I'm not playing anymore, >>?" Brooke leaves Wendy with millions of questions and forwards to her room. Her heart seems wrapped, under the decision she has just taken. She would have been relieved but seems it wasn't the solution, but it's better.

The next morning, Brooke wakes up with the first idea of going to the fraternity house to de-stress a little, but remembers her conversation with her sister, she must avoid Wayatt at all costs.  All her upheavals and moments spent with him confused her and since she has never been confronted with this kind of situation, the better thing to do is to escape.

Escape! this is a word Brooke isn't used in saying or even doing, it is like running away, and that's not what Brooke had been taught. But she feels different in front of him, like wanting to let herself out of control without judging the losses or advantages. These are the feelings she has when they aren't in one room together, but when they are... she feels like is time to seduce meanwhile she is the one seduced, that's the whole matter, he makes her lose control and forget her actions with present objectives. What did she think when wanting to tempt such a handsome boy?

Brooke, stop thinking, then gets up normally and goes to school, the day doesn't seem to start well, a step in her class and the arrival of the teacher, there is a surprise test in maths.  Brooke luckily had time to revise but doesn't know if she can get the right grade.  After the first hour of maths, we hand in the papers. Superbe news! she has an A +, she is delighted with this good mark which will be a benefit for her admission to her dream University.  The day ends and, too happy, she spends time with Francis,  who is surprised to see her with him at that time but not at the fraternity house. Under such suspicious questions, she decides to tell him everything.

After their discussion they move to rehearse their troop because in some weeks the show organized by the school will soon open to present the different clubs of the school, even though it is a little hard to train her troops, Brooke knows that to be a good choreographer, she needs to be patient. This life is almost the one that her mother has always dreamed of for her, well if we take away the dance lessons.

In the fraternity house, Wayatt stands at his window, watching if Brooke arrives soon, but in vain. No trace of her on the horizon, he gets discouraged and goes down to see his friends, and know more about Brooke's absence.  They are all playing cards, see Wayatt, and invite him to play with them.  The Latin American boy is more preoccupied with something else now, so he refuses the offer and instead needs to speak to Mackenzie. He gets her attention, and they go far away from the crew.

He asks her why Brooke did not come but she wonders it too, she reassured him she will come, but he already knows why she isn't here. Wayatt agrees, not reassured, and goes to his room.  Mackenzie is intrigued by his question but acts as nothing has happened.

The next morning for Brooke it's the routine and Wayatt too for that matter as if something had changed in them, as if the little extra that made their day, different from any other, had disappeared. Wendy, takes this opportunity to spend time with Wayatt, no matter if Brooke is in the game or not.  The closeness is not fast but surely advancing. Wayatt even started taking her up to school. Brooke hides each time he comes and spied on, not wanting to see Wayatt.

"Let's go?"  Wendy look at Wayatt, but he looks like he's looking for something or someone...who knows?

"Yes let's go," he declares before getting in the car.  Brooke prefers hiding, avoiding him, but she can't explain, why her heart seems empty, and full of sorrow when seeing him going.

Mackenzie, Amber, and Ashley, not understanding the situation, decide to see Brooke and Francis out of the fraternity house, without explaining why she isn't coming to the frat house anymore, the only ones knowing what is happening to her, are Amber and Francis.

Brooke and Wayatt, are more and more separated, as days go by, wanting to call each other or to see each other, every little thing makes them think of their moment, nostalgia invades them but decision-making and ego take over.

It went on for more than a week, and Brooke didn't look like she wanted to keep going to the fraternity house, she prefers hiding from Wayatt until she finally knows what is happening.

Thursday, Brooke gets to Francis's house after so long, wanting to be in a familiar place, needing to talk to a friend after so long, and tired of thinking about what should be thought or not.

"Hey! You painted back the walls in grey. I love it," Brooke admires the whole room before sitting on the bed.

" You love it because it is one of your favourite colours," Francis gets beside Brooke.

" Maybe, "Brooke removes her back and lie on the bed. "It has been a long time since I didn't come to your house, Francis,"

" Yes, you missed me, darling."

" You too," Brooke looks at the ceiling, realizing she practically left Francis because of problems he has with Mason, and because she finds other friends. Francis does not merit, her abandonment. " I'm sorry I left you for other friends,"

" Ohh darling, what are you saying? You perfectly have the right to have friends, and you know it is me who refused to come with you to the frat house " Francis lies beside Brooke.

" Yes, but I had to insist, you are my best friend. Do you remember what we used to tell each other?" Brooke turns her face to Francis "Being your friend wasn't a choice, it was a pleasure,"

" And just like pleasure, I will savour my friendship with you." Francis completes.

" Forever!" They both finish, after laughing.

" But darling, tell me more about you and Wayatt," Francis redresses on the bed.

" It's too long, but what I can tell you is that... with him I find myself getting into childhood. You know, just when dad was still alive, when I was smiling and wanting to devour life entirely, profit of each instance. But now that I'm avoiding him, I feel a lack, but do not just know what." Brooke has a melancholic voice and can't stop looking at the ceiling attentively.

" You know what? let me get some snacks," Francis changes the discussion and gets down to take some snacks.

Brooke gets up and walks through the room. She reaches  Francis's table and sees a picture of them when they were still kids, she smiles and hangs the picture. Then a book falls from the table when she tries to lean on the table.

She gets back the picture and picks the book. With a black hardcover, Francis's name written on it and carrying his handwriting, accompanied by a latch on it. It doesn't seem to be his class book, but a diary!

" Francis has a diary?" Brooke intrigued by what she discovers, asks herself if she has to read it or not.
