Wayatt and Brooke arrive at the frat house and with smiles while recapitulating the moments of the day, they forward to the door where Mackenzie is waiting for them impatiently.
"For God's sake, where were you?" Mackenzie puts her hands on her waist waiting for an answer, gets forward to them and raises an eyebrow.
" Sorry, traffic on the way." Wayatt declares, pushing delicately Brooke with his elbow.
" Yeah, traffic," Brooke agrees. Then chuckle together with Wayatt like two associates.
"Umm, I don't know what you're hiding but ... Brooke let's get up with what you bought before Ashley comes and see them," Mackenzie says before taking two bags from Wayatt and dragging Brooke inside slowly.
Brooke before entering and still dragged by Mackenzie turns her head to Wayatt then whispers "Thank you!" and smiles, Wayatt seeing her lips formullating "Thamk you!" Smiles to Brooke. Brooke turns back to Mackenzie and enters.
Wayatt stays outside, sighs and look at the sky before sitting on one of the chairs outside. Wayatt, can't still believe what happened today with Brooke, everything radically changed. The type of Brooke she could be if she leaves her other face aside. It could be an obsession, this desire of wanting someone to change, but for Wayatt it isn't... He feels like he has to do that. He does not know Brooke, but he has the strong feeling of changing her.
Someone covers Wayatt's eyes, he feels a female hand " Brooke!" He calls referring to the person behind him. The female hands go away from his eyes gradually before he turns and sees Wendy.
" I'm sorry, I thought it was Brooke." Wayatt apologies.
Wendy sits on another chair beside him.
" But it is me," she starts "were you thinking about her?" She continues.
" ... No! I just passed all day with Brooke that's why I thought she was the one. And I never knew you were here..." Wayatt defends.
"Ohh, so that's why everyone was whispering in the school hall..." Wendy whispers to herself.
" What?" Wayatt asks, seeing her lips moving while looking at the ground without hearing any words from her mouth.
" Umm, nothing. I can see you passed an excellent day with her," Wendy declares.
" Yeah, it wasn't as bad as I thought,"
Wendy feels nervous and uncomfortable hearing Wayatt talking about Brooke like this.
"She can be sweet when she wants..." Wayatt adds with a smirk, under Wendy's unpleasant feeling. She looks at the other chair in front of her, then bends her head to her long skirt and squeezes it a little, she feels her eyes pain and is ready to let out some drop of salty water, but she retains her tears and stops squeezing her skirt. She looks at Wayatt determine to finish will all the mascarade. Knowing that if she continues to waste time, she may lose Wayatt.
Still looking at Wayatt, who seems concentrated on the sky, she calls "Wayatt!" Before he responds.
" Are you interested in Brooke?" She asks, dreading his negative answer to the question.
" Why are you asking that? I just appreciate her, I think she is not the Brooke you think she is, especially in front of me. I think I can change her." Wayatt answers.
Wendy sighs " you haven't answered my question,"
"...I can't answer your question, cause I don't know!" Wayatt says.
" Don't do that, please... I mean she is my sister but, she does not know what is love, so don't fall in love with her " Wendy says while getting her regard to the ground.
Wayatt continues looking at her, surprised by her reaction and by the way she talks.
" Why are you telling me all these? I know your sister isn't the best but I don't think she isn't able to love someone..." Wayatt starts before Wendy cuts out his words.
"She doesn't know what a person feels when he or she is in present of the one he loves, but... I know," Wendy declares and the huge pressure holding her heart getting down slowly, then she minds looking at Wayatt, " I think if someone can break up your rules and principles then... He merits your love... you merit my love... Wayatt."
Wayatt stares at her, trying to figure out the moment, not knowing how to react under such a declaration " Wendy..." He starts but is being cut off once more.
"I know you consider me as your sister but, I do not... I- I love you!" She finally says before getting closer to Wayatt, sitting beside him, getting her head to his slowly, her mouth half opened, her soft lips getting ready for him, and getting down saliva to her throat, having one envy... kiss him and stop the game. Wayatt does not react, he leaves the moment to be done, not knowing if he should stop her or not while looking at Wendy's fluffy lips.
" ( Clear throat) excuse me..." Brooke interrupts before they both look at her. " Am I disturbing?" She asks. Wendy gets slowly back and redresses herself on the chair, uncomfortable and frustrated by her sister's appearance.
" I have to go," Wendy says while taking her bag, embarrassed and stands up to go.
" Wendy..." Wayatt calls.
" Just think about it," Wendy says before getting to her car and going.
Wayatt turns to Brooke, who looks at him with her arms folded under her chest. " I have to go also," Brooke says, unfolding her arms and turns to go.
" Don't be jealous!" Wayatt says with a smirk.
" Jealous?" Brooke repeats while turning back to him and chuckles. " I can't be darling... You are already mine." She says with assurance while chuckling. Wayatt roll his eyes, noticing the old her old attitude are back, thinking everyone is hers. "But if you wanted to kiss her because of what happened with Mason, alright... You can still follow her for your kiss but, you will still come back,"
" Don't take your dreams for realities, we kissed and practically fucked up, that's all. I can do it with any girl I want." Wayatt affirms.
Brooke gets closer to him, lifts her feet to get at the same height as him and enrolls her hands around his neck then in a sultry voice she says " but no one is better than me... And you perfectly know that." She gets her feet back, removes her hands, with a smile, she turns and goes assuredly.
The worse wasn't her assurance, her audacity or even her arrogant manner... The worse for Wayatt is that she is somehow right but he can't admit it...
What do you think? The couple is more flammable than ever. The feeling seems to reveal... Tell me what you think, vote and comment, please.
