"So Fi, where do you want me to go?"

"You must first carefully traverse down the Sahasra Slope, which you stand above currently. At the bottom of the slope, I detect a path, which will lead you closer to your destination. When you will surely locate the path, follow it and head north."

Link nodded and smiled, "That's part of directions, Fi. You didn't actually answer my question," he said, trying to sound as polite as possible.

"I did answer your question, Link. I want you to go down the Sahasra Slope, which you stand above currently. At the bottom of the slope, I detect a path, which will lead you closer to your destination. When you will surely locate the path, follow it and head north."

Link paused, taken back by her answer, "No no, that's not what I meant. Like where are we going?"

"Down the Sahasra Slope, which you stand above currently. At the bottom of the slope, I detect a path, which will lead you closer to your destination. When you will surely locate the path, follow it and head north."

Link mentally facepalmed, and groaned in his frustration. He heard Fi give a vibrant laugh.

"I'm teasing you, master Link. I know what you meant by your questions. You will discover our final destination when you arrive, or perhaps as we near it, you will make your own educated guess. Patience, master. Your questions will be answered soon, just trust my guidance."

"Alright, fine. I trust you have your reasons."

"Thank you Link."

Link started his descent down Sahasra Slope. He made it safely to the bottom rather quickly, despite the few minor scrapes on his hands, arms, and shins that he got from the occasional jagged rock or loss of footing. He found the path, just like he was told. The bright moonlight illuminated the land in front of him, making the dark terrain easier to navigate. He started to head north, never once straying from the path. Link stayed very alert, constantly looking over his shoulder and all around him. He would stop to take a closer look at a suspicious looking shadow, and would be relieved to see it was only a tree branch swaying in the gentle night breeze. Any small noise would cause his pointed ears to twitch up, and he would pause altogether, until he was sure it was nothing threatening.

Link could practically hear his heartbeat through his chest, and his chest felt a bit tight. He found himself taking deeper breaths. He was very nervous, yet at the same time very excited. He wasn't sure what exactly was awaiting him at the end of his journey, but he had a strong feeling it was going to change his life forever.

"Link-"

Link yelped, jumped up, and drew his sword, taken by complete surprise by Fi's sudden interrupted statement. When he shortly realized it was only Fi, he turned scarlet, not exactly proud of his startled reaction.

"I'm sorry Link! I didn't mean to scare you," Fi promptly apologized, although Link was sure he could hear some tone of amusement in her voice.

"I wasn't scared! You just startled me, that's all. I wasn't expecting sudden, loud, someone calling my name randomly like noises."

"Of course. I only wanted to inform you of further directions. Continue to follow the path that takes you in between Crenel Hills and Crenel Peak, and cross the bridge you will find, that branches over the Hylia River."

Link nodded, and continued his walk in silence, not really sure what to say. Part of him wanted to start a conversation, but what would he say? The other part of him wanted to just stay silent, not attract attention to himself, and get to wherever he was being led as soon as possible. He followed the path that took him between Crenel Hills and Crenel Peak, and crossed the bridge that lay ahead. He stopped in the middle bridge as he crossed it leaning over the railing, looking into the dark waters of the Hylia River. The ripples were strangely soothing, and the noise the river made calmed Link down, and took him mind off his worries for a little. He fell into a trance as his gaze stayed on the flowing river.
