As George returned back to the dorm room, he couldn't help but think about his conversation with Niki.

They both knew he was at least partially lying when he said no feelings were involved, but even if he did have some feelings for Dream, he was almost sure that the blonde didn't feel the same.

All of Dream's actions up to this point had been about messing with George, and what had happened the night before could easily be explained away by the alcohol they had consumed at the party or Dream's annoying need to always control the situation.

George figured the best course of action was to simply move past it, and focus on his classes which were starting that Monday.

That's exactly what his mind had shifted to as he pushed open his bedroom door, his eyes falling on Dream almost immediately.

Dream was sitting at his desk, and he turned to look at George as he entered the room, a smile lighting up his face as he said, "you're finally back."

George exhaled a small laugh as he answered, "did you miss me that much, Dream?"

Dream laughed but nodded, leaning back in his chair as his eyes followed George across the room.

"So are you gonna tell me where you went, George?"

George had his back turned to Dream as he pulled off his coat, leaving his scarf on as he made his way over to his own desk and sat down. He opened his laptop, his back still turned to Dream as he answered, "no, I don't think I will."

He pulled open his web browser, occupying his attention with his Twitter feed as he only half listened to Dream's desk chair scraping against the ground as he stood, his footsteps getting closer until he was standing just behind George's chair.

Dream leaned over the back of George's chair, his hands resting on the brunette's shoulders as he asked, "what's with the scarf?"

George's hands stilled on his keyboard, his face warming as he muttered, "what do you mean? I'm just a little bit cold."

He heard Dream hum under his breath, his voice quiet as he said, "oh really? You're sure you're not wearing it to hide something?"

George stayed quiet, his eyes fixed on the screen of his laptop even as his hands remained frozen on his keyboard. He felt Dream's hands drift to the fabric circling his neck, his fingers sliding gently underneath it as he asked, "can I take it off?"

George nodded, pulling his hands away from the keyboard as Dream loosened the scarf, the fabric falling away and dropping to the ground. He leaned back in his chair as the blonde laughed quietly under his breath, his fingers brushing over the purple marks.

Dream leaned in closer, his breath warm against George's neck as he quietly said, "you look good with these marks all over you, George. I don't know why you'd wanna hide them."

George could only inhale sharply as he felt Dream's lips connect with his neck, moving slowly over the areas that were already bruised purple, his tongue soothing over the skin before he pulled back.

It had happened so quickly, George almost thought he imagined it; his eyes on his now darkened laptop screen as he listened to Dream stand up and walk away.

George turned in his chair, watching as Dream grabbed his laptop off his desk and moved to his bed, leaning back against the headboard as he flashed George a smile and said, "something you need, Georgie?"

George exhaled before answering, "yeah actually, I need you to stop calling me Georgie. It's annoying."

Dream laughed, dropping his eyes down as he opened his laptop and said, "whatever you say."
