"Harry Potter and (Y/N) (L/N) must not go back to Hogwarts"
_____________________________
(Y/N)'s POV
The summer was a little weird for everyone. I wrote to Harry a bunch of times, but never got a letter back. Though when I wrote to Ron and Hermione I did always get letters back. Ron invited me over to come and stay at the Burrow at the end of summer. Meaning we can all go to the platform together.
As soon as we got home, I told Anika about my year, and I started asking Anika about our mother.
"Do you remember her?" I asked.
"Yes, but very faint memories," said Anika, not very cheerful.
"Is she actually still alive?"
Anika sighed and sat next to me, she put her hand on mine.
"(Y/N), I do know she is alive, and yes, I know I told you she wasn't when you were younger, but I didn't think you would understand. I was planning on telling you soon because I would have rather you heard this from me, and not You-Know-Who," she explained, Anika still never did say Voldemort's name, but she didn't mind when I said it.
"Well, when I was talking with Quirrell, he thought that I would know where she is. Do you know where she is?" I asked, trying to understand everything that was ever told to me.
"Yes, I do, but -- I can't tell you, for your own safety, seeing as you faced You-Know-Who as a first year, and you're best friends with Harry Potter, I think it's better that I don't tell you," she explained. She did have a good reason to keep it secret from me though.
"Wait, what about the fire? Who saved me that night?" I asked.
"The story reads that you saved yourself," she said sarcastically, I rolled my eyes playfully. "But, it was Dad who saved you."
"Dad's alive, too?" I freaked out.
"Well -- yes," she said.
"Where is he?" I asked.
"With Mom," she said simply. My brain is trying to take in all this information, and I don't know if it can.
"But who is --"
"(Y/N), you will find all this out in due time, for now, let's just celebrate the holidays. Do you want to invite your friends over? I'd love to see them!" said Anika, completely switching the conversation.
After that conversation, we didn't talk much about our parents again. Every time I brought up a question, Anika dodged it, said she didn't know, or her most popular answer was, "For your safety, I can't tell you."
On Harry's birthday, I sent him a letter with Anika's owl, it read:
Dear Harry,
Happy birthday! I don't know if you have received my other letters because you haven't written me back, but I thought I might as well try again! I hope you get better treatment from your Aunt, Uncle, and cousin on your birthday. Anika said that she wouldn't care if you came over to our apartment, if your Aunt or Uncle don't allow that, I at least hope to see you on the train, or maybe at the Burrow.
If your Aunt and Uncle say you can come over, my address is 5 Silver Canoe Road, 209 Wild Estates in Bristol.
I really do hope to see you soon. I sent you a gift as well for your birthday, I hope you enjoy and have a great birthday.
