It had been hours since the doors locked us all in.
Steve and me were still in the medical bay, not sure of where everyone else was. You could see Steve's anxiety, which was very visible. However I was trained to act the exact opposite in situations like this, and it was acting. I was beyond nervous.

It wasn't until Steve started pacing the room i said something, "hey I know your like freaking out but could you maybe do it in silence?"

He looked at me with the most utter shocked face. It's not like I haven't been mean to him before, sarcasm is apart of my personality. I guess he just hasn't seen me annoyed until now.

He nodded his head, slowly sitting down in a chair behind him, still tapping his foot against the tile.

Awhile passed, nothing happened. The compound was quiet, you could hear a mouse run across the floor, everything was silent.

That was until we heard footsteps outside the med bay doors. No one was supposed to be in the halls.

Steve stood up, staring at the metal, god it looks could kill.

The footsteps subsided, but then came back. I sat up wincing in pain trying to be quiet as possible.

Suddenly a huge bang echoed through the room, someone was trying to break in.
I covered my head with a pillow, attempting to block out the horrible sound. I looked like a child hiding from their parents arguing.

Nothing happened, the banging kept going until a whirring sound could be heard from the other side. And a red circle cut through the iron doors.

Steve ran to my side, as i clutched onto his shirt, hiding my head in his chest. Im a trained assassin, I've killed over hundreds of people, I was taught specifically not to let emotions run you, not to be scared. But in this moment, that's all I could feel.

The circle cut out from the door, revealing who was behind it. My head still dug into Steve, hearing him mumble a name.

"Bucky?"
